    She, too, is turning away from the normative by turning to human practices, attempting to introduce experimentation into her relationship with Spock in an effort to, as humans are apparently fond of saying, spice things up. The deeper her understanding of human sexuality–normative, transformative, and queer–the better she would be able to implement the experimentation into her own life.
