“You should check into a heat clinic,” Wong said, watching Stephen stock a minifridge.
Stephen didn’t even pause. “No.”
“If it’s as severe as it was last time–”
“No.”
“Why not?” Wong demanded.
“I can’t let him find out,” Stephen snapped. “I don’t care how confidential the clinic is, I’m not taking the chance.”
Wong frowned. “Stark wouldn’t want you to suffer.”
“No, he wouldn’t,” Stephen agreed. “Despite having nothing to do with my instincts fixating on him, he’d feel guilty. Maybe enough to offer to help. I refuse to burden him with that when he already has a mate.”
