Today is the day Lily Potter was giving birth, the wife of the heir of the Potters, James Potter. The couple lived in Godric's Hollow after moving away from James's parents, with whom the heir had a falling out before their marriage.
More than five hours of torment were worth it. The baby was born healthy and will surely grow up very beautiful.
“Lily, are you all right?”, James entered the room.
“I'm fine,” the woman smiled tiredly. “Look at our baby!” The woman looked at the baby with tenderness.
“You can immediately see the future, Lord!” James said enthusiastically.
“Wait a minute, you are not having a boy, but a girl,” said the medic, looking at the dumbfounded parents after stepping into the fireplace and disappearing
The Potters wanted the heir of the family and were very upset about the birth of their daughter. But they didn't give up. They tried to conceive again a few weeks later, but nothing worked. Again and again, they tried to conceive, but Lily did not get pregnant again.
But their attempts eventually ended, and more serious problems arose.
“Sirius... Our Areana... She...”
"What's wrong with her?" Sirius was seriously worried about his goddaughter.
“She hisses like a snake!”
“What?” Black had not expected that response.
"Hisses like a snake," James frowned while repeating the words of his wife.
“What can you do to help her, Sirius?” Usually, James called his best friend by his nickname, but now he was more serious than ever. “She is a dark creature?!”
Sirius stared at James in disbelief. He didn't expect that from Potter. James Potter has always been a good Gryffindor, a supporter of goodness, and he certainly could not say the same about his own child!
“Dark! A dark creature! Take her out of our house! James, Sirius, do something with her!” Lily hysterically shrieked.
Sirius looked at them in disbelief. If he heard about this from another person, he would hit him. For his best friend, one of the brightest wizards and the kindest woman in the world, James' wife and soul mate, to behave similarly...
The only thing Sirius could manage was:
“It's a prank?”
Having finished with Lily and James Potter, Voldemort walked to the second floor.
The Dark Lord approached the crib where the child was looking at him. The girl looked at him with curiosity, not understanding what danger he was carrying.
He pressed the wand to her forehead. The girl was still silent and did not cry.
“Avada Kedavra!”
Something happened that the Dark Lord did not expect. The spell was reflected and flew at him.
Green eyes stared wide. It lightened to morning.
