   Summary

   Elain's grasp on reality has become tenuous ever since she was released from the Cauldron and made Fae. She sees and hears things that aren't there, things that she isn't sure is real or not. She only gets any sort of relief from all the impossible things she see when Lucien is around, but she isn't ready to let go of her mortal life and everything she's ever known.

   Lucien still can't wrap his head around having a mate, let alone a mate who was human and has now seemingly been driven half crazy by her transformation, yet every part of him is demanding he stay as close as possible and take care of her.
