Proximity chat is hilarious, especially when everyone is playing in the same house, because you can hear when someone dies, the scream or cry of defeat. Entering Navigation, intent on finishing the last of her tasks, she pauses at the sight of a dark blue character hovering on the vent in the corner, and she pauses.
"Hi."
"Hi Dick... whatcha... whatcha doin?"
"Oh, uh... just hanging out." She hums, entering to do her final task when the sound of the kill screen blares, and the DEFEAT screen comes up as Marinette gapes at the screen, and she can hear Dick hooting from the other room. Loading into the starting room, everyone is protesting until it comes to a stop.
"THE BETRAYAL!!!!" Marinette squeals, making everyone laugh, and she sniffles, pretending to tear up. "You're not the man I married!"
"We're not married!" Dick laughs, and she lets out a gasp.
"Oh! Oh oh oh! I see how it is! Imposter!"
"That's my name, don't wear it out."
"I hate you."
"I love you too."
