Summary
“Micha.” Lorenzo starts, his voice running deeper than the Grand Canyon. It’s his usual voice, but Michael feels like he’s stuck in a belly crawl all the same. “I would do anything for you. I’ve killed for you.”
Michael knows this. He knows this very well, because he commanded Lorenzo so. Michael knows this better than anyone else.
He wishes that he didn’t.
Lorenzo wants Michael to start anew, a life full of bleached white rather than murk. Michael is exhausted.
