Summary
Devyn White was used to selling her work to rich assholes in forty million dollar apartments, watching hedge fund fuck-heads gouge her and her pieces apart-both in her bed, and in a gallery. She was used to praise. To commission. To the photographers who photographed her for magazines and features in nearly dead but iconic papers.
What she wasn't used to was fucking Chicago. And even though she had spent the better years of her life there, there is always a struggle to go back, adjust, let the papers and dust settle-and reminisce.
