Tara and Nick were hanging out in Nick’s room.
“Want to go bake something before everyone comes to hang out?” Nick asked.
“Yea. My favourite,” Tara said.
Nick and Tara head downstairs to bake Tara favourite cake and cupcakes for her birthday.
Nick smacks some flour in Tara’s hair.
“Aah how dare you,” Tara whines.
Tara flicks sugar on Nick’s face. Nick laughed with Tara and goes back to baking. In no time their friends will be there and they would want to have some of Nick baking.
The doorbell rings and Charlie comes in saying hi to Nellie and Henry.
“Hi Nick, hi Tara,” Charlie said.
Charlie goes over and kisses Nick in welcome.
“You taste sweet,” Charlie said.
“Sweet for you char,” Nick said.
“You’re a dork,” Charlie mocks and kisses Nick again.
Charlie goes and hugs Tara and wishes her a happy birthday.
“Happy birthday Tara,” Charlie said.
They hear someone come in and see that Darcy is there.
“Happy birthday jonesy,” Darcy said.
Darcy runs up to Tara and lifts her up and kisses her. Tara giggles at Darcy antics and kisses her back. She is so happy that they are here and in love and happy.
“This’ll be the best birthday ever,” Tara said.
“Come on let’s make the buttercream,” Nick said.
Nick, Tara, Darcy and Charlie work on making the buttercream while the cupcakes and cakes are in the oven.
“What do you want to do today jonesy?” Darcy asked.
“I’m just happy to be spending time with my friends and girlfriend,” Tara said.
The four of them finish frosting the cake and cupcakes and head to the living room to wait for everyone to arrive.
Soon Tao, Elle and Isaac arrive. They are happily sitting in the living room.
“Cupcakes now?” Darcy asked.
“Wait until sahar arrives,” Nick said.
Sahar arrives right on time and everyone sits down and they pick a film to watch.
“Tara since it’s your birthday you get to choose what we watch,” Nick said.
Tara chose warrior nun on Netflix.
“I love whatever sapphic shows we can get on Netflix. I also loved first kill. It reminded me of us Darcy if you were a vampire and I was a hunter,” Tara said.
“If I was a vampire you would be my muse,” Darcy said.
“I would let you be a vampire and we would have the best love story,” Tara said.
Nick and Charlie are snuggling on the floor just enjoying themselves and being their adorable selves.
Tao and Elle are sitting on the love seat snuggled up.
“I don’t get it, why can’t we watch something else?” Tao said.
“They are nuns that are warriors and the main character Ava is bisexual,” Tara said.
“Yay. I love bisexual characters. I love seeing myself in characters. Although don’t you think there is a lack of male bisexual characters,” Nick said.
“Had we been able to see ourselves we would have figured ourselves out earlier. Like I rarely see asexual, aromantic, and aroace rep. And I would have had an easier time figuring myself out if I saw more characters that were like me,” Isaac said.
“I wish we had a tv show with a group of friends like ours,” Sahar said.
Nick and Charlie bring in the cupcakes for everyone to eat. They also have popcorn and crisps and a bunch of other snacks.
Darcy takes a cupcake and shoves it in her face eating the icing first. Darcy takes some of the icing and wipes it on Darcy lips. She then kisses her there.
“You’re very sweet birthday girl,” Darcy said.
The two kiss again and enjoy being themselves with their friends. It’s a happy moment and they love being there with their friends.
Nick takes a cupcake and takes a bite out of it. He hands it to Charlie so he can take a bite out of it too. Next Nick and Charlie kiss each other and laugh the kiss is sweet and Nick and Charlie love it.
The friends continue watching the show and enjoying the fighting and the representation and everything else that they see. It’s a good show and they are excited to watch more of it.
“This is actually good for a mainstream show,” Tao said.
“Tao you secretly love it,” Elle said teasingly.
“Shut up,” Tao said.
“Make me,” Elle said.
Tao takes Elle and tickles her. Elle giggles. Tao kisses Elle and the two sit and giggle.
When they finish the first season they bring out the birthday cake.
“Happy birthday Tara,” everyone cheered and calls out to Tara.
Nick hands Tara the knife so that she can cut the cake and give some to everyone.
With everyone having the cake it was time for them to give Tara her gifts.
“I want to go first,” Darcy said.
Darcy runs to get her gift and hands it to her girlfriend. Tara looks at it and blushes. They are something special and Tara will forever be grateful that Darcy thought of her when she got this.
Elle goes next. It’s a painting of Tara and Darcy that Elle painted of them.
“Elle this is amazing,” Tara said.
“Thanks Tara,” Elle said.
Elle and Tara hug and hold each other close.
Next Nick gives her some baking pans so that they can bake together.
When everyone has given Tara her gifts they all say their goodbyes. Soon only Tara and Darcy and Charlie are left at Nick house.
“Jonesy should we go leave these lover boys all to themselves,” Darcy said.
Nick and Charlie blush at Darcy comment. She knows what to say to make them blush.
“Bye Nick,” Tara said and gives him a hug.
Tara and Darcy leave hand in hand Tara gives Darcy a kiss and they walk out together.
“And then there were two,” Charlie said.
Nick takes a cupcake that’s left and takes a bite out of it. Next he takes some icing and writes on Charlie lips I love you and next he kisses him. The kiss is soft yet loving and is sweet. Nick and Charlie are enjoying being alone in the house.
“Want to go upstairs?” Nick asks.
Nick and Charlie run upstairs and enjoy their day.
