Summary
She turns and sees two men making their way down the wooden stairs, a dog trotting at their side. When they reach the beach, the smaller man unclips the lead and the dog immediately scampers off, running into the water. The men keep walking, holding hands and chatting with one another. She’s too far away to hear them from her perch above the beach, but they look happy. Content.
As they approach the water’s edge, the larger man shucks his shoes and pulls his shirt off, dropping it down onto the sand. His golden hair flashes in the sunlight and the smaller man turns to him, laying his hands on his chest and tipping his face up for a kiss.
Or: an outsider POV story of a woman on holiday who sees Nick and Charlie at the beach with their dog and gets to witness their love.
