    In hindsight, when it started buzzing, he should have moved it to a containment area. He definitely shouldn’t have picked it up for a closer look. And when it then started to pulse and glow, he probably should have done anything other than jump back from his seat before letting go of the artifact as he fell backwards.

    Instead, he’d done all of those things and found himself in an entirely new and awkward situation.

    One he could definitely say he’d never experienced before.

    He’s not sure how, but apparently holding the object as it glowed gave him the ability to phase through solid objects. Or that was the only reason he could think of for how he was currently in an awkward squatting position in a wall.
