Silver was tired. He was tired of constantly falling asleep. It was only giving him trouble. He can't train as much as he wished, He might even become a liability for Malleus due to him constantly falling asleep. Not to mention he always gets scolded for falling asleep in class. Which is what was currently happening.
"Silver. Your grades are great, But you keep falling asleep in class. I feel like your grade can go so much higher if you just didn't fall asleep." His world tradition teacher, Trein, was scolding him for falling asleep mid presentation for a project.
"I will have to take points off your grade. I understand your tired. But how can you let yourself become exhausted to the point of passing out mid presentation?" Only Crowley knew of his curse. It seemed like Crowley failed his job again and failed to tell the teachers of his situation.
"I am sorry, sir." Silver can only apologize. It's not like he wanted to fall asleep during his speech. It wasn't something he can control. This was the third time he got scolded. He got scolded by Vargas for falling asleep while riding his broom on Monday. And just yesterday he got scolded for falling asleep mid chemistry experiment, almost causing the lab to explode, by Crewel. It seems like his curse was getting worse. Trein gave a sigh before speaking again.
"Please take better care of yourself. If this happens again I'll have to call someone." Silver already told Lilia what happened. Lilia was extremely concerned. Saying that maybe he should try to proceed with more caution. Lilia said he would have a talk with Crowley tomorrow about his failing to alert the teachers about Silver's problem.
He was tired of this. Trein dismissed him after giving him a warning. Better than the detention he received yesterday for almost exploding the classroom. Silver leaves the classroom. The halls were crowded with people trying to get to their clubs. Luckily the equestrian club didn't meet today, so he was free to go train. If he can make it back to the dorm without falling asleep on the way. Silver weaved through the sea of students in the hall. Briefly passing by the light and music club room, he can hear his father's laughter from inside.
Silver eventually made it to the hall of mirrors. He can see Sebek waiting for him by the Diasomia mirror.
"SILVER! YOU ARE LATE!" Sebek was as loud as ever.
"...Sorry, I got held back by a teacher." Silver replied. He didn't want to explain how he got scolded again. Sebek would probably scold him more, saying something about how unbecoming it was to have a guard of Malleus get scolded by a teacher.
"... Whatever! We have to go train!" Sebek said. He was not yelling anymore, But he was still loud. A few students turn to look at the two before entering their respective dorm mirror.
Sebek and Silver both entered the mirror that lead to the Diasomia dorm. The area around them shifted a little as they exited the mirror and into the little sub-space there dorm was. Silver follows behind Sebek. Sebek needed his training gear at the dorm before they could spar. So Silver waited in the common room for Sebek to come back. He waits. And waits. And waits… until there was black.

Silver woke up to Lilia next to him on the couch of the common room. Lilia was playing something on the small game console he had. When did he lay down on the couch? Ah, he must had fallen asleep again… Silver sat up right, Alerting his father that he was awake.
"Ah! Silver, you're up." Lilia gave a toothy grin as Silver was looking around. He was still in the common room, where he was waiting for Sebek. "Sebek is training. He said he tried to wake you up. It seemed like you were determined so sleep Hun." It almost sounded jokingly. But there was a small faint concern in his father's voice. Lilia handed Silver a box of chocolate milk from the cafeteria.
"Ah… Thank you fa-... Lilia." He avoided referring to Lilia as 'father' in the common room. With prying ears of other dorm members listening, probably wanting to make sure Silver was fine. Silver took the milk and looked out a window. It was dark, as always. But the clock by the window said it was around 7pm. Almost dinner time.
"You should go to your room. Dinner will be soon. Go get cleaned up." Lilia said with a smile before standing up from the couch he was sitting on. Silver only nodded in understanding as Lilia left towards the kitchen… Hopefully Lilia isn't cooking tonight.
Silver stood up and went upstairs towards his shared room with Sebek. He hated that he missed out on training with Sebek. He hated that he managed to somehow make the whole dorm worried for his safety. He hated that he was worrying his father. It made sense that Lilia would be worried since he fell asleep on a broom and almost plummeted to his death. Silver hated that he had this stupid curse, it had almost killed him several times throughout his life.
Silver got to his room. He threw his bag onto his bed and went to the small bedside table on his side of the room. He opened the drawer, reveling a old looking book he had found in the library. the cover shows that the book was titled 'ancient hexes and curses: old spells lost in time.'
Silver was so tired of his curse. He had to do something about it.
