Work Text:

After the whole whirwind that happened to Seo Ari, her days had finally calm down. The moment she decided to step out of the "Celebrity" world, she felt a lot lighter. With the people who supported her by her side, she felt like she got everything she needed.

And on of those people was Han Junkyung, the CEO of Hue Cosmetics; and also her boyfriend.

It was a fact that their relationship did cause people to talk about them all over the internet, but neither Junkyung or Ari mind over it. After Ari officially deleted her Instagram account, Junkyung did the same and insisted that "he will monitored the social media through his brand's account only." Some reactions were positive but of course there are some bad ones too.

But who cares? They don't know Ari or Junkyung in real life, right? So, why should they listen to those people?

In the beginning of their relationship, Junkyung only asked one thing from Ari. "Never shut yourself if you have any trouble. I'm more than happy to help you to get through them."

Ari would be lying if she didn't tear up at first when she heard that. And true to his words, Junkyung always managed to help Ari in any way he can. One time, Ari was struggling whether to continue Ari& or not and Junkyung's final decision was to buy her company and made it under Hue Cosmetics.

Now, it had been around half a year since they've been together. And they were never been happier.

"Junkyung, what are you doing this weekend?" asked Ari as she picked a piece of apple that her boyfriend peeled for her.

"Hm, I was going to do some rock climbing. My back was pretty sore this week," answered him as he put down his knife. "Why? Do you need anything?"

Ari shook her head, "No. Then, can I come with you? I've been wanting to try rock climbing as well."

Junkyung raised one of his eyebrow, "Are you sure? It's pretty dangerous..." He stopped momentarily after saw the pout on Ari's lips, "...but I guess it should be fine if you're with me." The beam on Ari's face was enough to say that she was delighted.

So, here they were, in front of the gym that Junkyung used to go to. Ari took a deep breath to calm herself down. She was exicted to try this new thing, but she was nervous as well. As if he could ready her mind, Junkyung reached her hand and held it gently.

"Ready?"

Ari nodded with a smile.

After a few minutes of getting ready, Ari finally began her first step to rock climbing. "Remember, grab the ones you think you can reach. There is no goal for you yet, just get the hang of it." Advised Junkyung as he watched her every steps.

Ari successfully placed her left leg on some rock near her knee. She continued to place her hands and legs to move upwards. Following her progress, she made 3/4 of her way to reach the very top. Junkyung couldn't contain the smile that formed on his lips from a moment ago. Proud was an understatement of how happy he feels.

The short-haired lady stopped briefly to catch her breath. Although they were indoors, the air does felt colder up here, maybe due to the air conditioning. She planned to look down to see how far up she was. But there is one thing she didn't think beforehand.

She was not fond of heights.

Fear began to creep her mind and she gripped the stones tighter. Junkyung noticed the change in her and asked, "Ari, you okay?"

All Ari could do was shook her head as she closed her eyes tight.

"Don't worry, just let go. I'll catch you."

"What? That's ridicilous."

"Just trust me."

Ari knew it was no use to argue with her boyfriend and the last thing she wanted was to spend another minute in this height. So, she let go. The rope that tied to her held some of her weight but based on the way she let go completely in a short amount of time, it wasn't enough.

As she landed on the mattress at the bottom, a pair of arms hugged her tight. She opened her eyes and met Junkyung's worried eyes.

"This was a bad idea. I didn't know you were afraid of height," he mumbled.

"No, it's not your fault. I didn't know I was scared of it too."

"Are you sure you're okay? No injuries or pain?" asked the man as he scanned for any injuries she might had.

Ari shook her head, "No, I'm fine." She could hear the sigh of relief coming from him and it made her chuckle.

"Laughing now, are you? Is it funny?"

"Ahaha, no, it was just your face. You looked so worried and sorry to be the cause of that."

Junkyung planted a light kiss into her forehead, "Don't be. It's my job to worry over you."

"Thank you for catching me, Junkyung."

"My pleasure."
