Another fic I made when I was bored and decided to share it with everyone.

English isn't my first language so I apologise for any mistakes.

Work Text:

9:27pm

The stationary shop closes in half an hour and Sky is in desperate need of glue. His project is so close to being done but the problem is that Sky has just run out of the key element to finish it.

To anyone else this wouldn't be a problem. After all the model isn't due for another 3 days, he can go to the shop tomorrow right? Wrong. Because Sky hated leaving his projects unfinished, especially this close to being done, even if it's just for 1 night.

Rain liked to leave all his projects for the last minute and would then end up complaining to Sky about not having enough time. Though, ever since he started dating Payu, he's been doing much better at managing his time. Sky on the other hand preferred to get everything done as soon as he could, so his work wouldn't pile up too much.

Rain. Sky briefly considered calling his best friend to ask if he could borrow his supplies but that was a stupid thought. He knew what Rain would say. "Oh but Sky, can't you just ask P'Pai to drive you to a shop?"

And that's the most logical thing to do. The rational side of Sky knew that. Prapai would be more than willing to help him, his boyfriend was just perfect like that. Frankly he would probably be upset if he knew that Sky needed his help but didn't tell him that.

The independent side of Sky hated asking for help though. After all, Sky had spent years taking care of himself. The fact that he now had a boyfriend who he could depend on and who loved being able to help Sky and do things for him in any way, shape or form was still something Sky was working on accepting.

He didn't need to rely only on himself anymore.

But that wasn't a thought he easily acknowledged yet, although - with Prapai by his side - he was working on it.

The last time he called Prapai in the middle of the night he was panicking. This time, with his brain calm and collected, knowing that his boyfriend has had a busy day at the office and will be having an early meeting tomorrow morning, he simply doesn't want to be a burden.

He knows that Prapai has already showered, is laying in bed, probably reading over his notes for the meeting before he'll eventually go to sleep. He knows that because just an hour ago Prapai came to their shared office room, with a glass of water and a small snack for Sky, telling him to not stay up too late before giving him a short kiss and leaving to get ready for bed.

9:30pm

Sky sighed and stood up from where he was sitting on the floor. Time was running out and he didn't know what to do. What if he does end up asking Prapai for help, if his boyfriend gets out of bed, changes and drives Sky to that stationery shop just for it to be closed? But didn't Prapai say that they should work on Sky asking for things? His boyfriend was always so happy when Sky expressed his wants and needs to him. Especially when it involved Prapai getting to help him in some way or buying things for Sky.

But all of this overthinking would be useless if Prapai was already sleeping, right? After all, as much as Sky knows his boyfriend wouldn't mind it, the last thing he would be doing was waking Pai up for something as stupid as glue.

So Sky makes his way across the hallway quietly to their bedroom.

Prapai isn't asleep yet though. He's laying in their overly huge bed, reading something on his laptop. His brows slightly furrowed and his hair - still a little damp from the shower taken earlier - falling into his eyes. Sky loves these private moments where he gets to see his boyfriend like this, stripped from his social butterfly, the popular bike racer or office CEO persona. Where he's just Prapai, in a way only Sky has the opportunity to see him.

Sky looks down at the time again.

9:32pm

He shuffles on his feet by the door to their room as Prapai lifts his head up. "Are you done already my Sky?" He smiles that wonderful smile of his that makes Sky's heart hammer in his chest. Even at this hour his boyfriend is still ridiculously handsome as well as adorable.

Sky collects himself quickly before deciding to just say the truth. "I ran out of glue." A pause. He looks at his phone again - 9:34pm. The shop was only a 5 minute drive away. "P'Pai, could you drive me to the shop?" Another pause. "I really want to finish the model today."

And just like that Prapai's smile somehow grows even bigger and in a flash he's putting his laptop away and getting out of the bed. "Of course honey, when does the shop close?" He asks, while already going to their walk-in closet to get changed.

Sky once again checks his phone - 9:35pm. "In 25 minutes... Actually maybe I'll just go tomorrow?" He hates that it sounds like a question. "Nonsense my Sky, 25 minutes is plenty of time and I know that you don't like leaving your projects unfinished. After all, you said it yourself that you want to finish it today, right?" Sky hums at that before answering uncertainty. "Right…" And just like that Prapai was back in the room, now dressed in clothes that weren't his sleepwear.

"I'm really happy that you asked for my help honey. Happy and proud of you." Prapai was standing in front of Sky, a hand on his boyfriend's waist while he placed a kiss on his cheek. "C'mon let's go." He said, taking Sky's hand, as Sky himself struggled with the wave of sudden affection he had for his wonderful boyfriend.

Why was he even worried in the first place?
