Chapter Text
It's never just "good-bye". In some cases, it's usually a "I'll see you later". For this particular situation, the young boy didn't know how to feel. His best friend being declared dead and the last time he saw him was before he got trained with his father. It always pained the young boy to see his best friend in such pain. Such sorrow. Everyone was crying around him but he was in his own world, conflicted trying to understand that he truly was gone. The boy who always understood him, who helped him though bad, was gone. Keigo Takami gripped his Endeavour toy harder as tears threatened to fall from his eyes. His wings closing and hugging close to his body. Keigo didn't know what to do with himself. He was alone. No one to hold him and comfort him. He was angry. How dare Touya leave him like that? Out of the blue? Then suddenly, he was pulled to leave for training. 'No one cares how I feel.' Keigo thought. They only wanted to use him. Though at this young of an age, it was harder to recognize the abuse he went through. The grooming the Hero Public Safety Commission (HPSC) did to Keigo. They just wanted him to be a hero, when the greatest was failing.

Nearly Seventeen years later, Hawks owned his own hero agency and was the proud owner in the number two spot of pro hero's. All Might retired and it was now Endeavours duty to keep everyone safe, with his assistant Hawks. Things were going as planned. Hawks was always excited for work now, he got to see his idol every day. Sure, Endeavor was pissed off most of the time. Lately, he has had to train three UA students. One being his youngest son. That was a handful to watch, alongside a huge pain in the ass. Everyday, Endeavour would come back to the agency after training and blat to Hawks about how "Ungrateful" and "Weak" these children were.
"Cut them some slack, Endeavour. They've been through enough. And they're not weak, they're strong and learning. Stronger than most students I've seen." And Hawks was right. These children were amazing at what they did, and no matter how hard they tried, they always succeeded. Hawks was interning his own student who was doing amazing. Of course though, he was being taught by Hawks himself.
