Summary
The discovery of Kix, CT-6116, The Chief Medical Officer for the 501st Legion of the 3rd Systems Army of the Grand Army of the Republic, on a ship that was supposed to go to Count Dooku, Darth Tyranus, head of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, but did not end up at its destination, is rather undramatic, when all is said and done.
Kix wakes up half a century in the future, to a galaxy no longer at war, and with no purpose. The Jedi Order seeks to rebuild, and connects with it's past.

I will never get bored of 'Kix as the Last Clone' fics because apparently I enjoy inflicting pain upon myself....I'll also never stop crying about it! This was so well written, oh my goodness! Also, bonus points for Jedi Finn!

DUDE... FUCK
People are staring at Kix, he’s pretty sure, but he pays them no mind. So what, he’s a clone, standing in a brilliant blue, cloak hiding his armour but not the unmistakable helmet? He deserves to be here, more than anyone else, and he doesn’t think he’ll ever leave, now that he’s here. He’ll live and die here and rust away with his vode, body buried amongst them, if there’s still mercy in the world.
But there isn’t, not in his. This gravesite is a testament to this. This is not mercy, this is a horror that no one here but Kix understands. He hears the distant sound of laughter and it makes an angry sob rise to his throat, choke it’s way out of him. How can they laugh, in a place like this? How can they feel anything other than a desolating grief that empties the body and leaves nothing behind? How can there be mercy while Jesse’s helmet lays behind a barrier that says, do not cross.
