Summary
Five years ago, Shisui Uchiha killed the majority of the Uchiha clan and the Hokage in a single night. Itachi is still reeling from the betrayal of his closest friend, and struggling to keep himself and Sasuke afloat. The last thing Itachi needs is to be assigned a genin team, but the Hokage has other plans. Somehow, he finds himself in charge of a team made up of a younger brother on the verge of being consumed by his anger, a civilian girl designated as canon fodder, and a jinchuuriki who has been missing for half a decade. What could possibly go wrong?
