    Summary

This is a story discussing science fiction within the context of theism. If gods have always existed, then they have never left us. Gaia is the Earth itself, the goddess of the Earth and the source of all life. Her descendants, the Titans, the Olympian gods, and humans, share a common origin. The genealogy of gods states that during the Golden Age, humans and gods lived together. Our world, transitioning from abundance to barrenness, may perhaps be the wrath of the goddess of harvest. Humans have been separated from the gods for too long, to the point of forgetting their existence. Technological advancement could be seen as a rebellion against divine power. Nature and life itself are miracles, so miraculous that no matter how advanced technology becomes, it cannot reach their boundaries. Humans themselves seem incapable of becoming such creators. Yet, natural life is also delicate and prone to extinction.
