Chapter Text
"I'm home."
"Welcome back!" answered Sebin cheerfully from his place in front of the dining table. He poked his head out to look behind Yechan, but he saw no one. "Where's Jaehan Hyung?"
Yechan smiled, took off his shoes, then walked to the sofa facing the dining table. He flopped on the sofa, hugging a puppy doll cushion with his eyes half-closed. "Jaehan Hyung has additional archery training so he sent me home first."
"Oooh," Sebin replied, opening the fried chicken box on the table while calling someone on speaker phone mode. "The holy fried chicken has arrived, Hangyeom-ah."
A few seconds later there was a rush of steps on the stairs and Hangyeom appeared with a big grin on his face. His eyes fell on the fried chicken box for a few seconds before he realized Yechan was sitting on the sofa. "Shin Yechan. You're home. Are you allowed to eat fried chicken with us?"
"I don't think so." Yechan yawned, snuggled his face against the cushion in his arms. "And I don't even feel hungry."
"Then hurry up, take a shower then go to sleep," Hangyeom said casually, sitting at the dining table with Sebin and starting to enjoy the chicken. "Because the second floor bathroom is empty right now."
"Where are the others?"
"In this house. Somewhere." Sebin took off the chicken bones and placed them on the lid of the chicken box. He noticed Hangyeom who only took chicken thighs and squinted. "You should also eat the chicken breast, you know."
"Alright, alright," Hangyeom replied with a smirk. After that they chitter chatter playfully, forgetting Yechan who was still sitting alone on the sofa.
After finishing eating and storing the remaining chicken pieces in the refrigerator, Sebin walked up to Yechan. "YA, go take a shower and sleep. Until when will you sit here?"
"I'm waiting for Jaehan Hyung."
"Ah, there are still things you need to discuss for tomorrow's filming? But wouldn't it be better if you take a shower first?"
"I'm fine," Yechan said, smiling at Sebin. "If you want to sleep, just go to bed first. I'll turn off the lights and lock the door later."
"Well. Okay then. Work hard, Yechan-ah," Sebin replied sweetly, ruffling Yechan's hair fondly. He left Yechan in the living room and went up to the second floor with Hangyeom.
Waiting was not Yechan's favorite thing to do. Just after the two hyungs left him alone, he already felt bored. Trying to divert his mind, he took the script book from his backpack. He flipped through the pages, looking for which parts they would shoot tomorrow. The sports field.
The scene of him joking with Jaehan and them locked in the sports equipment warehouse. Fortunately, this section was not deleted. If this part was also removed, he would immediately protest—
"Yechan-ah."
Surprised by Jaehan's voice, Yechan gasped in surprise as he looked up. Jaehan stood next to him, still carrying a backpack and archery bag on his right shoulder. "Oh. You're home."
Jaehan nodded briefly. "Because it's late, I didn't announce I was home. I don't want to disturb the boys." Then he seemed to come to his senses. "But why are you sitting here? You've gone home first, you should be take a shower and go to bed–"
"Hyung."
Because Yechan suddenly called him in an annoyed tone, Jaehan subconsciously shut his mouth. He stood still, just blinking his eyes while breathing. At this time, it was past midnight, all the members were already in their separate rooms, and there was only one light on in the living room. There was no sound other than the refrigerator, and because Jaehan and Yechan both did not speak, there was only silence.
"So," Yechan began to speak, his tone not as resentful as before. "The scenes got removed–"
"Kiss scenes you mean?"
With a frown, Yechan looked at Jaehan. "Yeah."
Jaehan's forehead wrinkled as well. "Is that why you're so annoyed today?"
Yechan's lips pursed. He slammed his back on the sofa backrest with both arms folded in front of his chest. "We practiced seriously for those two kiss scenes. But eventually they decided to eliminate it."
"Well, what can we do? The producer is in charge, right," Jaehan tried to sound cheerful and he sat down next to Yechan. He lightly nudged Yechan's shoulder with his. "Come on. Don't be so upset. You'd better manage your emotions because tomorrow's scene is very important. We filmed together in the morning."
Yechan still didn't want to let his annoyance go away. He kept sitting still without looking at Jaehan.
"Yechan-ah," Jaehan smiled, ruffling Yechan's hair fondly. "Are you disappointed because there won't be any kiss scenes that we can practice with anymore?"
Yechan's cheeks suddenly blushed. He didn't want to see Jaehan even more because now the cause of his annoyance was clearly displayed in front of him. Before, he didn't understand why he was so upset, but after Jaehan said that fact, Yechan was embarrassed. So he decided to run away. He stood up quickly, but Jaehan swiftly grabbed his wrist.
"Not that fast, Mister," Jaehan with a chuckle pulled Yechan's wrist towards the sofa, trying to get him to sit back next to him, but Yechan, who was in a shy and awkward state, couldn't control his own body movements.
Yechan falls on top of Jaehan, but he can still hold his upper body with his hands on the sofa so that he doesn't crush Jaehan. For a while they just looked at each other in shock.
"Mmmm, this scene is already finished filming, you know, Yechan-ah," Jaehan said awkwardly, pushing Yechan's chest so he could sit properly on the sofa. But Yechan didn't budge in the slightest and just stared at Jaehan with a flushed face, making Jaehan swallow. "Yechan-ah? Maybe we need to practice the scene that will be shot tomorrow? The scene was in a sitting position–"
"Hmm." Yechan's murmur made Jaehan shut up again. Yechan touched Jaehan's chin, making him look up slightly. "But tomorrow's scene is not as exciting as the kiss scene wiped away by the producer."
Jaehan was speechless, but his brain was still able to resuscitate him and ordered his mouth to answer. "If we're really actors, we can't choose to just practice for scenes that we like."
"Yeah, right." Yechan let go of Jaehan's chin and stood up. He reached out, which Jaehan accepted, and he pulled Jaehan's hand until he sat back on the sofa. "Do you want to practice for tomorrow?"
Jaehan cheerfully nodded his head. "You take a shower first, after that I also take a shower. Then we practice in your room."
"Okay."
Taking turns showering and getting ready only takes about 15 minutes. Jaehan was already wearing his pajamas as he stood in front of Yechan's room, with a script book in hand. He knocked gently on the door of the room, trying not to disturb anyone except the owner of the room.
"Come in, Hyung."
Jaehan carefully turned the doorknob, pushed it open and he went inside. He closed the door behind him, standing in front of Yechan who was sitting on the carpet on the floor. "So where do we start?"
"You're so noisy. Here, sit down." Yechan casually patted a section of carpet next to him, and Jaehan quickly obeyed. "It must be Jang Won Kyung who locked us here."
"But I didn't bring my phone."
"I also left mine in class."
"Are you dating Jang Won Kyung?"
"You're kidding, right? Of course not."
"But in the infirmary–"
"He was bluffing that he got a kiss mark." Yechan looked at Jaehan with gleaming eyes. "I thought you were only interested in archery. It turns out that you were also curious about something like this?"
Jaehan looked away, staring ahead so he couldn't see Yechan's mischievous face. "Well..."
"Want me to show you?" Yechan brought his face closer to Jaehan's. "How did you leave a kiss mark?"
Jaehan swallowed, turning his head slightly to Yechan. When he realized Yechan's face was too close, he subconsciously closed his eyes. Then he remembered. The next part that happened in the script should have been that the warehouse door opened from the outside. But since only two of them that were practicing–
Without hesitation, Yechan firmly pressed his lips against Jaehan's neck.
