Chapter Text

He felt a huge sword going through his chest; he let out a scream, and the last thing he saw was the evil grin of Able looking down at him, crushing his rib cage, then leaving him to slowly bleed to death. He was dying; he was dying! He was only eighteen and his life had only just begun; tears were running down his face, and all he thought was: 'Mama, Mikell, TJ, Sarah, Claire, I'm not coming home.'

When he opened his eyes and saw nothing, he wanted to cry, so that is what he did. He cried and cried. He wanted to go home. He wanted to see his family. He wanted to apologize to them for what he had done to cause TJ and Sarah to be taken away. Then he saw something—a bright color, red. All he saw was red. And then he heard a voice.

'Relax, Dr. Jack Elias Shaw Garcia-Bright; your life has just begun.'

When he opened his eyes, he was breathing heavily; he felt tears coming down his face; he stopped; he had just died; he felt pain; he only saw black. "D1-113! GET BACK TO WORK!" Someone yelled at him; it was a guard. "What? No! I'm not a D-class! I'm Jack-Elias!" He said this as he dropped something. "What? Can you just get back to work on D1-113 or else?" "I'm not a class D! I'm Jack-Elias!" "What..?" He looked down and almost let out a scream, and he stumbled backward. He saw his body—his own body—his dead body, his lifeless eyes, and his blood—his blood. "WHAT! NO! NO!" He heard himself scream; that's not his voice; it's not his voice! "Okay! Can someone get Dr. Moose and Dr. Gears?" He saw another guard running off somewhere to get Moose and Gears. "Please, you have to listen to me!" He heard himself beg—that's not his voice; it's not his voice.

Time skip.

Elias sat in a room with tears coming down his face that didn't belong to him. He heard the opening and saw Gears, and he sat down across from him. "This interview is 0963-12-15-1983," Gears said into a tape. "Could you please tell me your name?" He growled. He knew his name was always a mouthful; that's why he always preferred Elias, or Jack for short. "Jack Elias Shaw Garcia-Bright, Dammit Charles! You know that!" He sees Gears writing down something. "I believe your name is Tom Higly." He growled, stood up, and yelled. "Don't be ridiculous! I couldn't possibly be that!" He didn't notice that he dropped the amulet, but the next thing he knew, he was back in the void, but this time he heard the voices of Gears (his mentor) and other voices. "D1-113!" He heard Gear yells. "Get the fucking amulet!" Another voice yelled that he recognized it as his brother (Mikell). He opened his eyes and saw Gears and Mikell. "Jack!" "Yeah?" "We have a problem!" His brother said, "Ya think?"

Chapter Text

Work has always been a pain in the ass; he wasn't in a good mood, and a body that wasn't his is starting to hurt him. He hates this horrible job, and to top it all off, his co-workers always talk bad about him and his family, saying how they were all cursed to die and to be reborn as some monster. But once he saw his family's on-site apartment, his eyes widened, the apartment's door was open, and panic set in. He quickly ran up to the door. 'Shit! Shit!' That was only his thought. "MAMA! DAD!" He yelled that the apartment was almost empty and that multiple things were gone. "MIKELL! CLAIRE!" He went looking for them. He went from room to room; both his parents and his older brother's rooms were empty, but lucky for him, his older sister and younger siblings were still there and asleep. Meaning they put them to sleep, then packed up and left; they left him, and they left them. He sat there in his room, crying. Why does he always cry when this happens? Why does life hate him? He went looking for something, a note, a note hoping explaining why they left—maybe they left only temporarily, maybe they'll come back for him and them—then he found a note, he opened it, and then his heart dropped to his stomach.

'We are leaving and not coming back, I'm sorry, Elias; you're no longer our son, and he's no longer your brother.' -Ansel and Evelyn Garcia Shaw.

He read the note over and over again; this can't be happening. He sat there on the couch, crying. He didn't realize his sister had come into the living room. "Ellie? Where are mom and dad?" She asked. He didn't answer her; he just gave her the note. She read it and put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Ellie; we'll get through this," she said, almost in tears. They are alone, but they'll get through this; maybe they'll do better than them. "I'm tired, Claire." She nodded. "I'm going back to sleep; you should get some rest too; you have work tomorrow," She stated as she went back to her room. "Okay, Claire, I do have work tomorrow." He said. He lay down on the couch and closed his

He wakes up with Sarah crying, his eyes widening, 'Shit! Shit!' He thought as he knocked off his covers, ran into her room, and calmed her down, "It's okay, it's okay, Jackie is here!" He said that as his sister finally fell asleep, after he put her back in her bed, he kissed her goodnight on her forehead. He walked out of her room and quietly closed the door, whispering good night to her, 'Wait! Where's Claire!' That finally hit him. He went to her room, thinking maybe she didn't hear her. When he opened the door, his heart dropped. Her room was empty; her belongings were all gone. He started to panic. He went looking for her through the apartment, to the living room, kitchen, or spare rooms. Then, on the coffee table, he found it, grabbed it, and opened it, then his heart drops.

'Dear Ellie, I'm leaving; I can't do this anymore; I can't take care of you, Tj, or Sarah anymore; please don't try to find me or contact me; I have to go; I'm going to Europe and not coming back. I love you. -Claire Garcia-Shaw.'

He fell to his knees; he wanted to scream; he wanted to cry; so that's what he did; he cried and cried; tears ran down his face. Elias, at the age of 20, was forced to take care of two people who were still mentally ill. He heard foot steps: "Ellie? Where is Sissy?" He turned and saw TJ. "Don't worry, TJ; go back to bed; I'll be fine; we'll be fine." He said it quietly, and TJ didn't move. "TJ, did you hear me? Go back to bed!" His lips started to quiver, and tears began to show in his eyes. "TJ? Are you okay?" "Claire told me to keep a secret from you." He looked at TJ, and he looked down at the floor. "What is it? TJ? What did she say?" TJ started to cry. "She... she... said she's going to somewhere called Hand." His eyes widened, and sadness boiled down to anger, not at TJ but at his sister. "TJ, go back to bed; now I'll be here, but know this: me and Sarah are your only family; your parents and older siblings are dead, okay?" TJ nodded and went back to his room.

He got up and opened the cabinet. He saw the bottle of Bloody Mary. He grabbed it and opened it. That was the day he became an alcoholic. He took shot after shot. He started to dance around. It felt like all of his pain went away. He felt free. His long brown curly hair was waving freely. His eyes looked crazy.

He woke up the next morning covered in vomit and bloody Mary; he was a mess. Then he realized that his hair was covered in vomit. 'God, what did I do?' He thought, He hates them! He looked in their rooms and smiled; at least he has them. He closed the door. He walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. The body he had stolen this time had blonde hair and blue eyes; now it had brown and green eyes. 'I need a shower.' He thought. He can get through this. He can get through this.

It was his day off, but all he heard was "ELLIE!" He quickly got up, rushing to Sarah's room. When he got to her room, Sarah was sitting up, crying. "Hey Sarah! It's okay, it's okay, I'm here." He said it soothingly. She cries, and he hugs her, trying to calm her down. She was still not talking due to whatever the fuck his 'father' did; she could only say his name or TJ's name. "It's okay, I'm here. I'm here. Your big brother is here." He said. After a while, she finally fell asleep, and he quietly covered her in a blanket and kissed her on the forehead. In the morning, he was cooking eggs and bacon. "Jackie! Jackie! Look! Look!" He heard TJ running to him, excited. "What?" He turned and felt his heart fall to his stomach; it was a drawing of all three of them. "It's us," he wanted to make sure if he remembered them! Hey, do you feel like you're missing someone?" TJ raised an eyebrow and said, "Nope! You and Sarah are my only family." TJ said it happily. Elias stood there for a moment. "You know what! You're right!" "Can we put it on the refrigerator?" "Of course, Kiddo!" He placed the drawing there, and he couldn't help but smile. He only has them, but that's okay. After breakfast, he was teaching Sarah how to speak. Her body was in a horrible state, with support beams around her neck, arms, back, and legs. "Ellie! Ellie!" That was all she could say. Then it suddenly hit him; he was alone, taking care of two people.

He wasn't sad; he was angry—angry at Able for killing him, angry at his parents for abandoning him, angry at his brother for leaving with his parents, causing his older sister to become so stressed that she also left him for Europe. Later that night, after his younger siblings went to sleep, he got out the bottle of Bloody Mary and took shot after shot after shot until he was blackout drunk. He woke up the next morning covered in vomit, saying, "Shit! Shit!" He said out loud that he checked on his younger siblings; thankfully, they were still asleep. 'Fucking hell! I hate this shitty ass job!' He thought, after he got cleaned up, he would go to work at this shithole of a job.

He looks at Gears. At first, he thought it was some kind of sick joke, but then Gears said it again. "Congratulations, Elias! You're a senior researcher for SCP-963!" Gears said calmly He looks at him, grabs the paperwork, and looks at it. "Thank you; I'll finish it up by tomorrow!" Jack said through gritted teeth. "Okay, just finish up, Elias." He saw him walking away. He looked at the paperwork and started to fill it up. He hates them all. He read through the paper and started filling it up. He saw a familiar signature that made his blood boil. The signature was his father's; he could only see red. This was all some sick joke of theirs. He smiled, because he got a very funny joke, so he left a little note and wrote, "Fuck off, you piece of shit, you are a sorry excuse of a father." He smiled and mailed it off.

At lunch, he sat at the table alone. He tried to talk to everyone else, but everyone else always made it clear that he wasn't welcome anywhere near them. "Hey Shaw fucker!" Someone yelled, throwing food at him and landing on his hair. A guard came up to him and said, "Dr. Garcia-Shaw, Gears has requested that you meet him in his office about the paperwork." He nodded, threw away his food, and followed him. "Bye! Shaw fucker!" someone yelled, then he felt food being thrown at his head. He walks through the hallway and asks, "So? What is this even about?" He asked. "Something about a paper you summited." 'Did he see the note?' He thought, as they walked down the hallway, once they were there with Gears holding the paperwork, "He's here!" "Thank you, agent." He was there in the office, which was boring. He sat in the chair and said, "So... why am I even here, Gears?" Gears sighed, then showed him the note. He couldn't help but laugh, and then he saw Gear's eyes twitch. "Why did you write this knowing he's your father?" He laughed out loud. "A... a... father? They both left me! Then my sister left me due to the stress!" He laughed. "Elias, don't do that; please be more..." "Be more respectful? Hell fucking no! They left me! So that sorry excuse of a father could die in a ditch for all I care!" Gears didn't answer, as Elias slammed his hands on the table, "I don't give a flying fuck what those fuckers said or think about me; in fact, they could say I'm an unstable alcoholic and drug addict!" He yelled and stormed up to the door, and as he opened it, he exclaimed, "Oh! And I know you'll still be speaking with all three of these assholes! Give them this." Elias gave him the middle finger as he stormed back to his office, yelling up and down.

Gears sat there blinking, looking at the paperwork and the insult to the three overseers. He couldn't help but think how broken his family is.

Chapter 7: 6.) funeral and hurtful words

Summary:

He hears the death of his parents, but Mikell completely disown him.

Notes:

Let's continue to watch some poor guys life's fall apart!

Chapter Text

It was Moose who told him while working on another termination attempt on SCP-682, who was facing off against SCP-173. As a sniper shot out 682's eyes, she leaned in and told him. "Jack, your mother and father have passed away today." She whispered, and he was shocked. He just stood there as another sniper shot 682's eyes, and he blinked, and 173 snapped its neck.

Time skips six days later.

He was at the funeral wearing black; it was only him, Mikell, TJ, and Sarah. He was glad Claire wasn't here, or else there'd be hell to pay. As the funeral closed, he asked Gears to drive TJ and Sarah back to the on-site apartment; he would like some words with Mikell, so they were away from the cemetery. It was a long, awkward silence; he hadn't seen him since the 1980s, and his hair was longer than when he last saw him. "How's your life?" He asked, Mikell said nothing, and Elias groaned. "Look, I'm trying to talk to you; don't give me that face, Mikell!" He said. The two brothers stopped walking; his older brother looked at him dead in the eyes and said, "Don't call me that 963." Elias' heart dropped in his stomach. "What? Don't fucking call me that, Mikell!" He yelled. "You hear me, 963!" When he heard it the second time, tears started to form in his eyes. "I can't believe you still consider us brothers; you're not my brother! You're nothing but a freak; I wish you never had that stupid amulet when you died!" Elias stood there, hearing his older brother say, He doesn't want him. "Goodbye, 963! Don't contact me ever again!" He walked the other way. Elias stood there; it stung. He slid to the floor against the cemetery gate. He closed his eyes and cried. Tears ran down his face.

It was about 6:30 p.m. when he heard a car pull up and someone get out. Maybe it was Mikell saying sorry—sorry that it was all his parents' fault. "Elias, it's Moose; Gears sent me." He looked up and saw Moose. She extended a hand to him, and there was a soft smile. "Come on! Elias, don't worry, it's going to be okay." She said soothingly, He grabs her hand, and he gets up and gets in the passenger seat. "How are TJ and Sarah?" He asked as she started the car. "They are already asleep; just go to sleep, okay?" He smiled a little; at least she kind of cares, but he still doesn't feel love.

After Moose drops him off at his on-site apartment, once he is in there, he wonders if she is lying, but when he checks TJ and Sarah's rooms, they are asleep. He walks to the cabinet, opens the door, takes a shot of Bloody Mary, lets a taste burn his throat, takes another shot, then another shot, another shot, but it doesn't feel the same anymore, so he just takes a giant sip straight from the bottle. When he opened his eyes, he was covered with vomit and cocaine. He hates him; he hates him; he hates them all.

Chapter Text

He started to work with Gears on a 682 project, and as he was walking to the testing room, where Gears was with Moose, he couldn't help but notice how they all glared at him or whispered and pointed at him. For as long as he remembers, he tried to avoid eye contact. Sometimes, if he listens closely, he can hear their whispers about him. "Man, is that him? He does look like a freak!" "His eyes look gone; where's the MTF because we've got an SCP on the loose?" "Ha! His brother is right; he's nothing but a low-life freak!" That line was like a knife through the gut as they pointed, whispered, or just laughed at their jokes.

Once they were finally in the testing room, he rushed in, not wanting to be in the hallways anymore. Surprise, surprise, it failed again! 096 can't even beat this goddamn lizard. When he walks to his office, his mood is even worse. They have written cruel messages. He doesn't feel pain; he can drink and snort his problems away. Once he was in his office, he found the small bag, opened it, and started to get rid of his problems.

He woke up six hours later, with Gears shaking him awake and saying, "Elias, it's time to go home." He nodded, grabbed his stuff, and went back to his old on-site apartment. He managed to get his younger siblings asleep, then kissed them goodnight and went to the living room. He opened the cabinet, he growled in annoyance, he ran out of his favorite drink, he saw something, he looked at it, it was vodka, he had never tasted it before, so he opened it, he poured himself a shot, he allowed the taste to burn him for a second, so he took another shot, and another shot until he woke up the next morning covered in vomit. He hates this shithole of a life that he created. He hates him; he hates them all. He thought his life would never change.

He's not suffering anymore, his life will start to take a turn the better!

Notes:

I always picture Draven (Kondraki's son) being a little shit when he was a kid.

Chapter Text

It was 2008, and a Jewish man was walking down the hallway of the joint sites of 17 and 19. He had just transferred because SCP-408 was causing trouble. While he does love those butterflies, they can cause headaches for everyone involved. Then he saw her, an old friend, when he started as a field agent, her name was Agatha Rights. "Hello! Benjamin Kondraki, how's your day so far?" She said happily, "It's okay, I saw Mann; he's creepier than ever!" He joked with his old friend; they both burst out laughing but quickly stopped when Mann walked by because they wanted to live. "Come on! I'm in charge of your tour around the site!" She said it in a sing-song voice.

Time skip

Elias was walking down the hallway when he heard someone whispering and laughing. He walked faster, found his usual closet, and decided to eat here today. He quickly closed the door and sat there, then started to eat. As he ate, he couldn't help but notice how lonely he was. He hasn't seen his family for a very long time. He closes his eyes, allowing some tears to flow, then he hears, "Nope! Mann is saying he needs an assistant for some experiments on SCP-682 and SCP-106. " That caused him to jerk up. Someone was coming; he didn't want someone to see him; what if they were like the others? "I'm not having it." When the door opened, there stood a tall Jewish man with long brown hair, black eyes, and tan skin. They looked at each other for a moment in awkward silence. "Ummm... is this closet available? I could leave..." Elias shrugged and said, "Take a seat!" He said it calmly. "Okay! I... ummm... Mann got mad at me; he's creepily saying he needs help on the experiment for SCP-682." The man quickly closed the door behind him. The two sat down and chewed their food. "So, who are you?" He asked the mystery man. "Oh, I'm Benjamin Kondraki! I'm new here, but I have been at the foundation since 1999!" He took a deep breath. Sometimes, he wished his name was shorter. "Jack Elias Shaw Garcia- Bright, I'm a senior researcher for SCP-963, SCP-590, and SCP-321; I have been here since 1980." He said, then he saw Kondraki's face drop, "Oh! You must have heard from me from the asshole o5-6!" He stated. "You could leave if you want to; I know you're afraid of me now." He continued to eat, expecting the Jewish man to leave. He expected to hear footsteps, but he didn't hear them; instead, he still sat there, blinking. "Oh, I remember Moose talking about you; I got the impression you have longer hair." He said that Elias jerked up, realizing that he was still here. "And you seem like a person that Agatha would be friendly with." Then he felt something he hadn't felt for a very long time. "I think you and this Agatha person are also the type of people I could see myself being friendly with." Elias doesn't know what this feeling is, but it feels addictive, and he wants it all to himself.

Kondraki was falling asleep in his on-site apartment when he started to hear loud footsteps upstairs. He got up, trying to investigate; it was definitely from the apartment above. "Dad?" He heard a small voice; it was his teenage son, Draven. "What's going on?" His son was a wake. He was standing there, in the doorway of his room, "Ummm, go back to sleep, kiddo!" He said, his son nodded, and he heard his son's room door closing, and Kondraki continued to hear loud banging noise from upstairs. He decides to check it out; he opens the door; it's 7:30 am; the early sun is starting to show; he slowly makes his way upstairs; he identifies the noise coming from apartment number 50; he slowly tiptoes to it; and he slowly places his ear to the door. He hears a loud noise, then someone vomiting, and then it goes quiet. He checks the door; it's unlocked. 'Shit! Shit!' That was his only thought. This person could be injured or worse. When he opens the door, he sees the apartment. It is a complete mess; the living room is covered in bottles and a smell he can identify and remember from when he himself was in that dark era in his life. "Hello?" He called out, and then he saw a familiar face sleeping on the sofa—it was Elias. He quietly walked up to him; he was completely blacked out and covered in vomit. 'Oh, 343! Elias, how long has this been going on?' He thought as he was picking up the bottle. "Ellie?" He jerked up a bit. He turned and saw a young boy with curly, thick brown hair and green eyes; his face had multiple freckles, and his skin was much darker than Elias. "Umm....?" He looks at this kid awkwardly and asks, "Where's your mother?" " He asked. "I don't know!" The kid said, "Ummm, okay, where's your father?" The kid blinks, "I don't know!" He responded confusedly. Okay, kid, can you do me a favor and go to your room, okay?" The kid nodded and walked back to his room. He slowly managed to get Elias to the bathroom, to hopefully get him clean up. He heard him grumble, 'Okay, Benjamin, maybe you are taking care of another person.'

Elias opens his eyes with the worst hangover of his life and says, "Ugh, what happened?" He asked himself. Then it hit him: he was in his room covered in blankets in different clothes; in fact, he was wearing a familiar forest green jacket. Elias removed his blankets; he was surprised he wasn't covered in vomit. He got off the bed, opened the door, and heard people talking. "Hello?" He said. He turned the corner and saw Kondraki, his siblings, and a random kid eating breakfast. "Jackie!" TJ said happily, "Oh! Dad! He's awake!" The kid yelled, and he looked and sent a soft smile. "Good morning, Elias!" Kondraki said, "Care to join?" He was surprised but wanted to get rid of this hangover, so he sat down and ate. When he talked to them, he found out the kid's name was Draven, and he was fifteen years old. "What even happened?" He saw the kid had a big grin and said loudly, "We heard loud sounds of people getting shot, so we called the-!" Draven was cut off as Kondraki smacked his son's head. "Don't be rude!" "Ow! Okay, fine! Fine! Sorry!" Draven said, rubbing his head. "It's okay; I don't really care." "See, he doesn't-!" Draven cut himself off as he saw the look his dad gave him. It's a look when a parent knows you shouldn't say what you're about to say. "I'm sorry, Elias," he said, looking at his food. They continued to talk, and he couldn't help but notice how much less lonely he felt.

Chapter 10: 8.2 part 1) new friends and a new foe

Summary:

After getting close to Kondraki and his son, Elias meets some new friends and made a new foe.

Notes:

There's angst andsome fluff!

Chapter Text

Every single morning, they eat, drink, and talk together. Elias was slowly getting to know and trust Kondraki and his son, but he quickly noticed something that he couldn't ignore anymore. Where's the kid's mom? That kid must have come from somewhere; when he brought it up, he found out he did have a mother, but she had died. He didn't want to press on the issue, so in return, he told him about his past. "So? Your older brother is an O5," Kondraki said before taking a sip of his coffee. It was their day off; they were hanging out at Elias' apartment. "Yup! And he's a complete and utter asshole!" He said. "Oh! I mean, when I first met him in 2004, I thought he was pretty nice, but then when I mentioned the site, he said some fucked-up shit about the humanoid SCPs, how they are nothing but lowlifes and freaks." That comment stung, and he knew he was talking about him. "That's why I don't talk to him anymore; in fact, I haven't talked to him since the late 90's after he told me I should have died when Able killed me and he called me the number of the amulet," Elias said. Kondraki noticed how his voice was bitter and full of hatred. " Kondraki nodded, and then their phones went off. "Good 343! Gears wants us in testing room 682-230-12," Kondraki said. "I got the same text!" Kondraki looked up and said, "Let me guess! 682?" "682! Man, he really wants to make our lives a living hell?" Kondraki went back to his apartment to get ready, and Elias took a deep breath. He really hates his older brother.

After getting ready and his siblings' caretakers showing up on short notice, the two left. The two talked as they made their way to the site. Kondraki looked at his phone and said, "Oh! Agatha just texted me! She's here too!" He doesn't know who she is, but from what he has heard, she was a crazy and wild girl. Then he saw at the entrance of Site 17 one of the most beautiful women he has ever seen, with long black hair, brown skin, and black eyes, wearing a long lab coat with a red shirt, a long skirt going past her knees, and knee-high boots. She had a wide smile, but when she saw him, she gave him a weird look. 'Yup, she's going to hate me because of what HE said about me.' "Agatha! Hey! This is Elias!" Kondraki said, he only gave a small awkward smile, she gave him a wary look, "Hello, Elias...?" She said in a rude way, "Oh Kondraki! Dr. Samet and Dr. Gears need us to test for SCP-272 and SCP-682," she said, ignoring him. All three of them started to walk to the testing room. She continued to talk with Kondraki while giving him a disgusted look. He looked away. However, instead of ignoring him, Kondraki tried to insert him into the conversation. But she got more annoyed until she said loudly, "Okay, I need to point out the elephant in the room." All three of them stopped walking; Elias and Kondraki were surprised by her attitude. "Why are you hanging out with a humanoid SCP?" His heart dropped as she said that, and Kondraki's eyes widened. She looked at them, expecting him to say something. "Agatha? R... really?" "What?" "Don't be rude!" "So? Just asking Ben? Why are you even hanging out with a humanoid SCP? Plus, I heard the humanoid SCPs are usually in their cells at all times." That comment hurt a lot. "Rights! What the fuck?" He asked her, and she finally read the room, realizing what she had said. Elias turned around, not wanting to hear her excuses, and Kondraki ran up to him, with Rights standing there.

Time skip.

He was finally there, in the testing room, with Gears and his assistant, a young man named Julian Finn, and Dr. Samet, and he was standing there in the back. Then Rights and Kondraki finally arrived, speaking in Portuguese. "Rights and Kondraki, how lovely you two have finally arrived!" Rights, and Kondraki decided to stand next to him. "Rights? Do you have something to say?" He said, and she was clearly embarrassed; she took a deep breath, "I'm so sorry about what I said earlier." She whispered. He looked down, and she gave him a cup of coffee. She was truly sorry. He took it and sipped it. Gears checks his watch, as Samet looks way too eager. "When's the experiment going to start?" The door flew open, and a blonde man stood there out of breath, saying, "I'm here, I'm here! I'm so sorry I'm late." He looked at everyone; his eyes widened, and his heart skipped a beat. He has baby blue eyes and blonde hair; he was wearing a dress shirt, a long white lab coat, dress pants, and dress shoes; he was wearing glasses; and he was holding multiple papers. "I'm so sorry, I overslept; I didn't realize that the termination attempt was today." He said as he walked in, then gave the papers to Gears, and he swears to 343. He could see a halo over his head. "Good to have you join us, Simon Glass." Samet looked at the testing room. "Now let's kill this fucking lizard." He could hear the grinning in Samet's voice. At this point, he refused to pay attention to the termination attempt; he could only pay attention to this angel in this room, an angel who's one of the most beautiful people he has ever seen; heck, he's more beautiful than Rights; his skin looks soft, softer than a fluffy pillow. "Elias! Elias! Elias!" He couldn't even hear Kondraki and Gears yelling at him as the angel outshone the entire room. "ELLIE, GET DOWN! NOW!" Kondraki grabs his shirt and pushes him to the floor, then he lands on the table behind the angel, who ducks as a huge explosion causes everyone in the observation room to duck. Then alarms for a containment breach blasted through the speakers. He looked up and saw the room covered in smoke. Gears was breathing heavily and coughing. "Is everyone okay?" Gears said as he coughed, "Yeah! I'm okay, "said Rights as she sat up, coughing. "I'm okay," the assistant said, rubbing his head. "I'm okay! AND GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" Samet yelled angrily. As the groups stood up, Elias checked if the angel was okay. The angel sat up. He had bruises on his face, but other than that, he was okay "Why is there an explosion?" Glass asked, and Elias put his hand on his heart. His voice was soft, like an angel's.

Time skip.

A few days later.

They were all in the meeting room, and after that lizard was finally re-contained, they all sat there after hiding in a safe room due to a five-hour containment breach because the lizard caused other SCPs to break free and kill multiple people. "So after all this mess," Samet said, sounding annoyed and angry, "What could we use next to kill this lizard?" He said. Gears looks through his paper. There's SCP-524, SCP-507, SCP-106, and SCP-076-2," he said. Rights rolled her eyes. "Oh my 343! Why can't we just throw a nuke?" She said, and Gears looked up, "No! Rights, that's a stupid idea; do you want 682 to add radiation as its own weapon?" He said, Elias couldn't even pay attention; how could he? When the angel in this room keeps getting him distracted, "Elias!" He heard his name getting called, and he quickly turned his head, seeing Gears. "Yeah?" He said he was looking up. "What do you have to say?" "I think using SCP-106 to try and fail to terminate 682 is an awful idea; let's use 524!" He joked, and he heard some laughs: "You know what I think, 963? I think that's a stupid idea." Samet said, gritting his teeth, "Samet, it's Jack or Elias, not 963!" He said. Samet rolled his eyes. "Yeah! Yeah! 963!" He knew deep down he wanted to shoot him in the foot. Before he could get his handgun, Gears turned to Samet and said, "Dr. Samuel Samet, his name is Elias, or you called him Jack, but I don't think it's wise to call him that number." Samet rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah! Yeah! So, about 524? What can it do?" He asked. Simon took out a document and read it out loud: "It's a small rabbit that can eat other things without any harm or eat itself without being harmed." Simon said. Gears took a thought, then said, "Maybe that doesn't sound so bad, 963." Jack looks at his handgun; it had a few bullets; he'll save it, especially for Samet. Then the door opened, and a young man walked in wearing a yellow suit, a black tie, and the other half of his face burned. "Oh! Cimmerian, what brings you here to our site today?"

Chapter 11: 8.2 part 2) Lunch and some new friends

Summary:

Elias makes four new friends!

Chapter Text

Cimmerian stood there, his brown eyes looking around the room, and said, "Good morning. I'm here on behalf of the Ethics Committee and o5-6." Elias snarls at the mention of his brother: "Why are you even here then? I always heard you Ethics eggheads wanted to stop the O5 from killing the SCPs, especially the humanoid SCPs!" He said it out loud. Gears and Samet looked at him angrily, and Julian and Kondraki tried to hold back their laughter. Rights gave him a high five as Cimmerian took a seat, not that far from Glass. "Moving on, Dr. Samet, the Ethics Committee and eight out of the thirteen council members have given you and your team the funds for the termination of 682, but they sent me so you wouldn't go too far by using the humanoid SCPs, so the Committee and the council sent me to oversee these termination attempts." Cimmerian added, then Gears gave him a report about 682 and its containment procedures; he read one and looked up, "A nuke?" Cimmerian raised an eyebrow, and Right said, "Oh, come on! I was just saying. Why can't we just go nuke it and send it to hell?" "Again! That's a horrible idea, Agatha!" Gears said bluntly, feeling a headache form, and Cimmerian rolled his eyes. "This's going to be a long day," he said.

After discussing every single termination attempt for 682, they all agreed to use 524. After that meeting, he decided to eat in the cafeteria today with Rights and Kondraki. "Hey Elias!" The group stops. Elias turns around, and he sees Cimmerian. "What do you want?" "I just want to talk." "Yeah, what is it, egghead?" Rights laughed while Kondraki gave him a high five. "Umm. I'm not sure if they should be here to hear this since it's about your older brother." His face turned white, and he gritted his teeth. "What the fuck does he want?" He asked, and Cimmerian didn't respond to his sudden aggression towards that bastard. Rights and Kondraki decided to just walk away, probably knowing this discussion could get ugly. "He told me he wants to speak to you, but seeing how you responded, I'm not sure it's a good idea." He responded, "Anyways, I'm hungry; let's get something to eat." He just realized that even though he heard of him because of his brother, there was no judgment, no disgust, no hatred, just kindness. So he followed him to the cafeteria; today was pizza day. Once he got his lunch, he sat with Kondraki, Rights, and Cimmerian (which surprised him), and even the three got weird looks, whispers, or just giggles about the jokes they had probably told about them. But they didn't seem to care, and maybe he shouldn't care. Then, again, he was surprised when Julian started to hang out with him; even though he called him the amulet number, he eventually started to call him by his name, and then that blonde beauty he saw on that termination attempt that day started to hang with him, and he no longer felt lonely.

Chapter 12: 9. Part one) A light, trash can and some new friends

Summary:

Elias meets Light and Clef surprisingly they aren't that bad.

Chapter Text

Elias first met Light, and oh boy, she was a piece of work. They were assigned to a field mission with Kondraki, Rights, him, and other agents. She had short blonde hair, green eyes, and white skin. She was wearing an MTF jacket with a green shirt, black pants, and boots. She told them their mission; a bass of the Chaos Insurgency was finally pinned pointed; it was in upstate New York; the foundation had planned this raid for months; however, it all went wrong. They tried to negotiate with them, giving them the option to give up and surrender, but it ended in a four-hour shootout with Chaos Insurgency agents and their agents; then some GOC agents saw what was happening and joined in with the foundation. 'Can this day get even worse?' He thought, and then the Serpent's Hand joined with the Chaos Insurgency. He gritted his teeth, so he started to shoot at the Serpent's Hand agents, hoping one of them was the woman who abandoned him. More agents and GOC soldiers finally showed up, but it was too late, and the two groups got away. Nobody was killed; they were only injured or had infected wounds. So he was here in the medical wing of Site-19 with Sophia Light when he turned and grinned, "So, how's your day so far?" This caused her to glare at him. "We failed, so I'm not in a good mood: So I'm having a shitty day, 963!" "Okay, two things! One, I'm sorry you're not in a good mood, so calm down, woman! Two, it's Elias or Jack, not 963; please don't ever call me that." He held out the ruby amulet in front of her face. "This is 963." Light looked at him. "Well, that's a surprise." He pulled the amulet away from her face. "Good! My name is Elias or Jack." She nodded, "Okay! Elias, I'm having a shitty day because that was our one chance to destroy the insurgency!" He smiled, the door opened, and Glass appeared. Elias felt his face turn bright red. "Hello Elias and Dr. Light, I'm here for your routine psychological exam; I was sent here under the orders of Gears." Elias smiles; his day could be turned around because of this beauty. Light nodded, "Okay! Make it quick! Troy is home alone with our son; he's a horrible cook!" She said. Simon smiled softly and pulled up a chair, saying, "It's about today's raid on the Chaos Insurgency base camp." Light wasn't a bad person; she was just a bit blunt and more serious than him and Rights, but maybe she could be a good person.

He never spoke to him, and from what he has heard from Moose, she told him Clef is an asshole, a liar, and a giant creep; he thought she couldn't possibly be right. Then, when he met Clef in 2002 for an experiment, those words were true to describe him, from the way he talks, his posture, and the way he creepily smiles at everyone, especially the humanoid SCPs, and was just an overall asshole. Although he has never spoken to him, he is happy that he has never taken part in the harassment and abuse he has faced. Then Clef had to leave the site for a field mission, and when he met Kondraki, Clef magically showed up one day assigned to the 682 termination attempt. It was Kondraki who introduced him to Clef, and then it was like a switch: Clef started to glare at him, he gritted his teeth when Elias made jokes that caused Kondraki to giggle, or he just made passive-aggressive comments towards him. One day, when he was walking back to his office from eating breakfast with Kondraki and Rights, he felt like he was being followed. He turned around and saw Clef, whose face was hidden underneath the big hat he always wears. He walked faster to his office because he just got a creepy vibe from him. "Hey! Umm... Elias!" He heard Clef calling out for him. He stopped and turned around. He saw Clef, who stormed up to him rather angrily. "Why are you hanging out with him?" Elias raised an eyebrow. "What?" Clef got angry. "Kondraki? Why are you hanging out with him?" He said his voice was full of possessiveness. Elias was caught off guard by his sudden possessiveness over Kondraki. "Ummm....? Because we are friendly?" He quickly noticed how Clef's hands had curled into fists, and his teeth were gritted together. "Hey, are you good?" "Yes! Why?" "Why what?" "Why are you hanging out with him? Why am I hearing from Agatha that you are hanging out with him and stealing his green coat, sometimes wearing it?" Clef asked, "What, no? Ugh! Rights! I don't like him like that!" Clef rolled his eyes, then it hit Elias: He must have had a thing for him. "Why are you even asking me this? Unless you must have..." Clef's face turned red. He turned around and stormed off. Elias stood there, blinking. 'Okay then! Maybe you should confess before someone steals him.' He laughed to himself.

Time skip.

Six days later,

He is in the cafeteria with Kondraki, Simon, and Agatha. He made a joke that caused them all to laugh out loud. He didn't notice Clef was staring at him. Clef rolled his eyes and still couldn't believe it because it actually made him laugh. The more humanoid SCPs could eat in the cafeteria and walk around the site as long as they didn't try to escape. Because he saw the Dimension Hopper walking around with the double vision girl talking and joking around, he made a loud comment about a containment breach. Gears later talked to him about his comment. To be honest, if he had it his way, those two would be in a small room and not allowed outside for any reason. As for the girl, she'll be in a straight jacket in a cell, only being allowed outside to use her vision because they aren't humans, just freaks. He kept staring at him, and 963 curled his fist. He was worried that the humanoid SCP would keep him away. He couldn't help but grit his teeth as Kondraki laughed, and 963 made another joke. He looks at his shotgun; he wants to aim it at 963, but it wasn't a wise decision. As he ate his food, he couldn't help but notice how 963 sneaked a glance at the pretty blonde. He took a sigh of relief. Agatha was wrong; he didn't have feelings for Konny. But he could be wrong, and Agatha could be right; he could have feelings for Konny. Then he noticed something: some assholes were leaning over a bucket full of garbage and waste. He then realized that the bucket was tipping over 963, his eyes widened, and he quickly got up and tried to get his attention, but it was too late. There was a loud splash, and all the trash landed on 963. Everyone gasped and stood up, their jaws dropping. 963 was covered in haft eaten food, coffee, gum, and some feces. It stunk. There were giggles from the assholes above. Agatha looked up. She looks pissed. "HEY! WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?" She yelled. Kondraki managed to get him out of his shock state and make the humanoid SCP follow him, and the pretty blonde followed behind him. Agatha stood up and walked up to them, wanting to confront them. Clef followed her. She was yelling at them, her long hair now in a bun. She wants to fight them. He grinned. He wants to join in, so he loads his shotgun.

Chapter 13: 9. Part two.) Old dog, new friends, trash can incident, and more happiness.

Summary:

Elias makes some new friends and met an old friend.

Notes:

I'm no longer making him suffer happy?

Chapter Text

Elias wasn't sure what happened: one minute he's eating with Agatha, Kondraki, and Simon; one minute he's made a joke about Mann's creepiness; the next thing he knows, he hears giggles and a loud splash; he lets out a yelp. He's now covered in trash and waste, and it stinks like a dumpster. He gags, everyone stands up, gasps, and their jaws drop. Kondraki and Simon snapped him out of his shock state, then guided him to the bathroom. He heard yelling and gunshots.

Time skip.

He was in Gears' office; he was in new clothes and wearing Kondraki's coat because his lab coat was ruined. Gear's was reading the report; the people involved had moved sites, and he gave Elias the report and permission for a new lab coat. He left the office, and Kondraki helped him back to his office. "Thanks for helping me," Elias said. "No problem! Those assholes had it coming!" "Umm. What happened to them?" "Rights tried to fight them, but Clef decided to shoot them all in the knee caps." Elias managed to let out a small giggle. They made it to his office. Elias gave back his coat. He opened his office and sat down. After Kondraki left, he heard a knock: "Come in!" He said. The door opened, and Clef was there. He took a seat in front of his desk. "Hey, ummm... 96..." Clef stopped himself when he saw Elias face; he found out from Kondraki that he hates being called that number. "I mean, Elias, can we talk?" "What?" "About what?" "On what those assholes did to you." He took a deep breath, allowing him to continue. "How long has that been going on?" Elias rolled his eyes. "What? Okay, Alto, I have known you since 2002; during those years I was either being called that stupid amulets' number, getting called a 'freak, or facing straight-up abuse, and now you have noticed it!" He was almost growling. "Yeah, I always thought you were just used to it until the trash can got dumped on you." He looked at him and said, "No, I was never used to it; I hated that." Clef nodded. "So, are we good?" "Yeah, we're good; I don't want to make him choose between me and you." Clef said, and Elias nodded. "I... umm... do have a thing for him; just don't tell him yet; I'm not ready, and I won't tell that pretty blonde boy you have a thing for him to." Elias blushed. He grabbed his heart, and Clef knew about his crush on Simon. They shook hands, agreeing to not be friendly but not outright hate each other; just be cool.

She was only fourteen years old. She told a random CPS agent about her power, not knowing it was a field agent. At night, when she was sleeping, the foundation raided her home. She was heavily drugged, then she was taken away from her parents. He saw her; she had long hair, blue eyes, slightly tan skin, and was wearing an orange jumpsuit. She was sobbing. "Ummm... hey kid, are you okay?" She didn't respond. "Hey! Ummm... Iris? Is that right? Is your name Iris Thompson?" She looks up and says, "Yes, my name is Iris." "Okay, my name is Elias or Jack." "Jack, where am I at? Why did they take me away from my family?" She asked. "Your powers," he saw as her eyes widened. "Shit..." She whispers. "Yeah," he said, sitting next to her and trying to comfort her. She looked at his chest, and her eyes widened. "The amulet..." He nodded and held it up. "This is SCP-963; I'm Elias." She tried to touch it, but he quickly moved it away. "That's not a good idea; you'll be braindead and have a copy of my consciousness." She nodded and decided to listen to him. "So I'm SCP-105?" He nodded. "Have you met Rainer, Ashley, and Thomas?" She shook her head. "There are other humanoid SCPs like you; they're all your age." He smiled widely, and she gave a small smile. She eventually became an agent with the nickname Snapshot, even though Clef and others protested, saying she was an SCP and should be in a cell, not on a field mission. Over time, she proved herself by working with him and Kondraki on the field, and eventually, Draven became an agent. He still kept his guard up around the very few friends he had made, but they gained his trust.

He read the file. His name is Cain; he's been in foundation custody for over 10 years, but now that Site 17 is the biggest safe site for all humanoid SCPs, he wasn't surprised when Cain moved here. He smiled through the observation room. "Hello?" He said it was cold and robotic. "Greetings, Cain..." His eyes widened. "Ummm... it's SCP-073!" He frowned. "I don't like being called 963, so I'll call you Cain!" In response to this, he smiled, Okay, what's your thoughts on the joint sites of 17 and 19?" Cain took a moment to think. "I think it's okay. I have some friends like Rainer, Ashley, Iris, and Thomas. On top of all of that, Madeline and Emma have started to be happier and more carefree." Elias nodded. "Okay, next question: What are your thoughts on the other more hostile SCPs?" "Oh, ummm... They're all assholes and have treated Ashley completely horribly in the past." Elias has never encountered the other SCPs in person, but from what he has heard from Iris and Rainer, they are just petty to them. "Okay, next question? What did Able the motherfucker say to you?" He asked, and Cain looked down. "Umm. You know what? I think that's a family issue; I ain't going to stick my nose into that mess." He said. Every day, he and Simon would continue to talk to Cain; he was nice but very, very lonely. Until the day he was allowed to wonder around the site with supervision, they would eat in the observation room with him, so he didn't feel alone until six months later, when he was finally allowed to go in the cafeteria.

Kaine Pathos Crow, or Pathos for short, was a dog. When he met him in 1999, he thought he was a cute dog. He tried to pet him, and instead of barking, he had a human voice. Elias screamed at him while Pathos scolded him for disrespecting his elders, and he almost got a heart attack. He heard laughter from Moose and the much older staff, but after that, Pathos was never rude or ever took part in the harassment, but he thankfully called others out for their treatment of him. They met again in 2010. At this point, Pathos was much older, in his late 40s, and had bad sight and hearing, so he wore glasses and had hearing aids. When Iris and Draven first met him, they thought he was a normal dog. Iris was the one who screamed at the sight of Pathos, "OMG! A doggy? Who brought a dog here?" Causing Pathos to jump, his hearing aids picked up the feed and tried to fix them while he and Clef grinned widely. Draven took out his phone to take pictures of him. The snap of the phone caused his other hearing aid to also pick up the feed, and Pathos growled. "I'm sending this to dad." Iris laughed, "Hey Drave! Send me those pictures too," She said loudly. The feed of the two now loud seventeen-year-olds and the camera caused Pathos to stand up, turn to the two teens, and then loudly scold them. They both screamed, and Iris fell onto the floor, still screaming. He and Clef laughed at them. Elias fell backward, laughing and trying to catch his breath. The whole cafeteria started to laugh at them. As Elias got off the floor, he saw Pathos in pain, covering his ears. He quickly went over to him and helped him with his hearing aids. "You good boss?" He asked once the hearing aid was fixed. "Elias?" He nodded, which caused Pathos to smile softly. "Thank you, Ellie." After everyone calmed down but there were still small giggles at the teens, Pathos fixed himself up, then turned to the still panicking teenagers and smiled, "Greetings, Agent Iris Thompson and Agent Draven Kondraki. My name is Professor Kaine Pathos Crow." He stretched his hand out with a paw to the agents, but they wouldn't grab it. "Relax! I took my yearly rabies vaccine," he winks at the kids. Elias and Clef let out small giggles.

Chapter 14: 10.) Love

Summary:

Elias still wonders if he could ever find love again.

Chapter Text

On October 12th, 2010, Elias was officially cleaned off alcohol and drugs with the help of Kondraki and Agatha. He promised himself he'd never drink again. But he started to notice something whenever he and Simon were together in a breakroom, observation room, or anywhere for that matter. Kondraki, Cimmerian, Agatha, Julian, or anyone in their small friend group would loudly say they were leaving, which caused him and Simon to be alone. Sometimes he wishes he could just grab him and hold him in his arms and tell him he loves him and wants to be with him, but he can't because if that bastard finds out, he'll spread gossip about him. Sometimes, when he sleeps alone at night, he will close his eyes and picture Simon next to him. He's feeling his soft skin and burying his head into his hair, and then Simon says he loves him, saying he's special and he'll never leave him. Then he'll open his eyes, realizing it was all a dream, and he'll cry because he can't have him or he'll never know if he could ever find love. He and Simon have gotten very close, eating lunch together, sometimes even sharing some food, having small coffee breaks together, or just enjoying each other's presence, even having dinner together. Elias ended up telling Sarah and TJ, begging them to keep the secret; they agreed, and they too would intentionally leave them alone, giggling, and sometimes he wanted to die again. But he wasn't sure if he could ever be with him. Or so he thought.

Chapter 15: 11.) Party and a new promotion

Summary:

Elias life has a hitted a new high.

Notes:

Oh there some spicy scenes but nothing else

Chapter Text

Elias blinked twice; he wasn't sure if Gears was lying. "This is an application for a site director for site 19." Gear said it coldly. He looked at it, then at Gears. He started to fill it out as soon as Gears left, and he mailed it in on the same day. Only Kondraki and Agatha knew and got hyped, causing everyone to stare at them weirdly. They fixed themselves and celebrated quietly. "Okay, if you do get that promotion, we have two requests." Agatha whisper. "What's that?" They both looked at each other and nodded. "We want more coffee breaks and any friendly Safe or Euclid humanoid SCPs to be called by their names." He was shocked, then it hit him: not everyone calls Iris and Cain by their names; they were sometimes called 105 and 073. "Oh shit! I'll take that request to heart." He said. He waited, he waited, and he waited; he kept talking to Cimmerian, Julian, Light, and Iris. They all told him he's overreacting and to calm down; he'll get the job and be a better site director than everyone else.

Time skips six days later.

He got it in the mail, and he ran straight to his best friend. He was panicking, so now he was here with Kondraki. He nervously opened it, looking at Kondraki. "You know what! How about you read it first, because I'm extremely nervous?" He said so, giving it to him. Kondraki looked at it; his eyes widened, and then he looked up at him and frowned. "What does it say, Ben?" "Hello, Site Director Jack Elias Shaw Garcia-Bright." He hugged him tightly; he was in tears. Kondraki hugged him back. He made it. He fucking made it without them in his life. "Oh my 343! Oh my 343!" He yelled, jumping up and down.

As soon as they all heard, they all decided to celebrate by getting drunk at the new on-site bar. He, Kondraki, Rights, Cimmerian, Julian, Simon, and Clef decided to go into the bar. They took shot after shot, getting wasted. "You know what? When I first met Samet, I thought he was stepfather material. Nope, but he ended up being a buttkisser and an asshole." Agatha joked. "Hey! That's not what I thought; I thought he was a fish, and I was right; he's a bottom feeder!" Cimmerian said before taking another shot, "Oh my 343! Stop roasting Samet without a Mexican Martini," Julian said, passing one around to everyone. "Oh Kondraki, I've had a crush on you since we met, but I never had the guts to confess to you, so that's why I got possessive when I saw you hanging out with Elias; I thought you were dating him." Everyone thought he was joking, but only he and Agatha knew he wasn't joking. "Oh my 343, Clef, even if you had a chance, you aren't stepfather material," Julian joked before chugging down his Mexican Martini, causing his throat to burn and causing him to choke. "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Julien, you better save that for Gears in the bedroom," Agatha winked at him, causing them all to burst out laughing at the embarrassed young man. "Hey Simon, I have always wanted to kiss you on the lips, angel." He said, leaning on Simon a little bit, "What?" "Yeah, I always wanted to kiss you, Glassy!" He said this, causing Simon to turn bright red, and Kondraki is now bright red because Clef started to flirt with him more. Unknown to Alto and Jack, Kondraki and Simon were both partly sober, so they were taken aback at their confession. Kondraki had some feelings for Clef, but he wasn't sure if he felt the same. Simon had also started to form a massive crush on him, but Kondraki was confused at the thought of dating Jack Elias Shaw Garcia-Bright, someone he only thought of as a little brother and not a romantic partner. Kondraki and Simon decided to quickly chug their drinks.

"Elias Garcia-Shaw, Benjamin Kondraki, Agatha Rights, Jeremiah Cimmerian, Julian Finn, Alto Clef, and Simon Glass, what the fuck?" Gears, Light, and Pathos appear out of nowhere, surprising them all. "Heeeeey, COG, hhhhoooow aaaaarrreee yyyyou ddddooooing?" Agatha said it happily; her words were completely slurred. "What are you guys and gals doing here?" Light asked. "Wwwwhhhhaaaaattttt? Oh, come on, we're just celebrrrrattttttinggggg, Sophia!" Elias stumbled over to her, giving her a drink. "No, thank you; we have work tomorrow!" "What? "Yeah, as a new site director, you have to deal with paperwork, order clean-up of the aftermath of containment breaches, pay paychecks, and, oh, deal with the assholes known as the o5 Council and the Ethics Committee combined." The four researchers, an ethic committee member, and the new site director heard this and let their faces drop. They groaned, realizing they had to go to work tomorrow with a hangover. "Whhhhyyyyy?" Agatha groaned, and Elias quickly chugged the drink that he wanted to give to Sophia. "Okay, come on now! Time to go home." Light, Gears, and Pathos managed to get them all up and get them safely back to their onsite apartments. He was walking home with Simon, leaning on him. Elias kept flirting with him, causing Simon to turn bright red. "Look at me, angel!" He blushed. They were at Simon's apartment. Simon was looking for his keys. Elias smirked. He grabbed Simon from behind. He blushed. He felt Elias' head on his hair. Simon blushed more. "Ellie! Let go, let me open the door." He said, getting out of his grasp, to unlock the door. When he unlocked the door, he was about to open it, but Elias turned him around and locked their lips, catching him off guard, but he let it happen. They stood there until Elias pinned Simon to the door. They started to make out. They entered the apartment. They entered Simon's room, removing their clothes. Elias closed the door with his foot.

The sun's light woke them both up. He turned, only seeing Simon sleeping, and smiled. Then he realized they were both naked in Simon's bed. At this point, Simon also woke up, and they both screamed, "What the fuck!" He shouted, using the blankets to cover himself up. Simon was blushing, sitting up in bed. "Why did we even do that? Why did we decide to do that?" He asked, trying to find his clothes. "Elias?" Simon whispered, and he turned his head, seeing the angel. "What did you really mean by all that stuff last night?" Simon asked. Elias paused, looking down as he found his pants. He took a deep breath and nodded. Elias knew where this was going to go. Simon snuggled up to him, causing Elias' to blush. They sat there, letting what happened sink in. "Simon, I understand if you don't want to see me again; you moved sites and will not be around me anymore." Simon wraps his arms around his waist, resting his head on his shoulder. "What if I don't want to leave you? What if I want to be with you?" Simon asked. Elias looked down; he couldn't help but smile softly. Even in the morning, Simon was still beautiful. "Wait, what did I say last night?" He asked, and Simon blushed, "Um, you were saying, Oh, you wanted to kiss me, and you called me angel." Simon said. "Oh my 343, why did I say that?" He said. Simon giggled, then kissed Elias on the cheek. He blushed and said, "So are we, ummm..." "Yeah! We're a thing!" They kissed again, this time not out of lust but out of love, which he held in his arms, deciding to be together for a moment before going to a shithole of a job.

Chapter 16: 12.) Will you marry me?

Summary:

Elias and Simon get married.

Chapter Text

Simon moved in with Elias on their first anniversary of dating, and TJ and Sarah, of course, started to tease their older brother about his boyfriend like younger siblings do. Simon eventually found out about his alcoholism and drug addiction; he asked about it, and Elias told him. Simon was shocked; he expected him to leave or make fun of him, but instead, he hugged him, and they kissed. He told them he's strong for getting over his alcoholism and drug addiction while taking care of two people. That day, Simon made him his favorite dinner and a movie, and Elias realized that this is what love feels like. In return, he made Simon his favorite dinner and gave him chocolate. They would try to spend every moment together, even at work, whether it was spending lunch together, sharing notes, or hiding during breaches. It felt good when he was near Simon; he would always tell Elias that he was strong and special, and he would hold him in his arms. Elias became loud, energetic, and chaotic. He's finally comfortable in his new life with Simon by his side. He thought his life couldn't be happier. Agatha and Kondraki started to tease him about marriage. Elias would always say no, and Simon would say no since it was too early in their relationship. Then, when he was cleaning up the apartment, TJ decided to kick a ball that landed on the door behind him. "TJ! What did I say about that?" "Sorry, Jackie!" The door behind him creaked open. He turned his head, and his eyes widened. He knew what it was. It was his parents old room. He hasn't been in there since the 1980s. He went in and turned on the light. He looked around. It was still the same. Since he never touched it or went inside, he left it alone because he still felt creeped out about it. Then he saw his mother's old jewelry box. He never opened it. It was on the counter by their bedside. He walked up to it and opened it. There were diamond necklaces, emerald bracelets, earrings, and rings. He looks at them and keeps grabbing them. They all look kind of cool. Then one caught his eye; he grabbed it and looked at it. It was the most beautiful Emerald ring he had ever seen. He takes a good look at it, puts the box back, but takes the ring. He'll ask him to marry him with this ring.

It had been one year and six months since he and Simon had been dating. It was a Christmas Eve party; they had been partying, drinking, or eating their worries away. He and Simon had been dancing all night together, with people teasing him all night. When the party was winding down, the two went home. TJ and Sarah were asleep, so he and Simon were alone. They put on some Christmas music and started to slow dance together, but he stopped. Simon was confused. Then he realized that Elias had an emerald ring. Simon was going to cry. "Simon Glass, will you marry me?" He asked. "Yes! Oh, my 343! yes!" He hugged him. So they spent the night snuggling, watching movies, or slow dancing together.

They got married on June 16, 2013.

Chapter 17: 13.) A happy ending

Summary:

Elias realizes something.

Chapter Text

Elias opened his eyes, sat up, and was worried that he was in that dark place again. Then he looked by his side; it was Simon Glass-Shaw. He wrapped his arms around him and ran his hands through his hair, making sure he wasn't dreaming. "Simon..." "Yeah?" "You're so pretty," he heard him giggle, so he grabbed Simon, pulling him closer. "Why are you so cuddly today?" He asked. "Jack smirked, "Because I'm married to a very beautiful man." He said this, pulling Simon on top of him. He let out a squeak, blushing now that he was sitting on top of Elias. Simon covered his blushing face, now red as an apple. "Let me see your face, angel!" Jack teased. "Noooooo! And stop making me embarrassed, Ellie." They both laughed. "Okay, fine, Simon, I won't call you an angel anymore." Simon moved his hands from his face, Elias grabbed his shirt, and they locked their lips. Then it hit him for a moment: he was everything he ever longed for: a happy marriage and people who actually cared about him. He hugged him tightly, and Simon broke the kiss, softly giggling, "You are really, really beautiful." He teased. "Come on, we have work today, so get ready, Ellie!"

Chapter Text

"Damn you, Shaw!" Everyone was staring at Clef, who had just opened fire at SCP-682, who had just gotten a face full of confetti and cake sprinkles, causing said SCP to growl at him. "What? It's your birthday!" Elias said, standing up from his hiding spot, "Yeah! Now it's my deathday!" Clef yelled back angrily, and as 682 covered their eyes, he took this moment to run to where Elias and Simon were hiding. "I know it's my birthday today; thank you, but I prefer a birthday card or sleeping in!" He said that as 682 got all of the confetti and cake sprinkles out of their eyes, "But I'm not shooting cake sprinkles at the lizard, bitch!" Clef, Simon, Elias, and the many other staff members got quiet and waited patiently for the giant lizard to leave, but lucky for them, it crashed through the other wall, leaving them alone for now. "Let's get to the safe room." He whispered to them, and Elias made a motion to move to the other terrified staff members and to follow them. They all got up, then silently followed him to the nearby safe room. When Clef opened the door, the terrorized staff of 17 and 19 ran in. They said, "Come on, people, hurry up before 682 comes back." He shouted. After the breach, he gave Clef the birthday card; he opened it, and Clef smiled. When he told him it was all Kondraki's idea about the card, he blushed. "Have you ever tried to talk to him instead of cockblocking yourself?" He asked, and Clef rolled his eyes, blushing. "Oh please! I'm trying, but I can't; he's too focused on work, while I'm too focused on finally making him realize I liked him." He rolled his eyes. "Yeah! Yeah! Just confess to him already." Elias teased. Fine, there's a party for Troy and Sophia's anniversary on Friday; go to it, make your move, and finally go somewhere with that sexual tension that's been floating around you two for a long time," Elias said, smirking at Clef, who blushed. " He nodded. "Okay Alto! Get laid and finally kiss him, damn it!" He yelled at Clef, who turned around and left for his office. Elias laughed; he couldn't help but laugh; he was finally clean of alcohol and drugs, happily married to his true love, and his life was finally going somewhere.
