“No.” Damian crossed his arms. “I refuse to read such drivel .”
Helena sighed. Dick was going to owe her so many favors for this. “We’ll if you actually cooperated we could move on to more challenging material instead of less.”
The kid glared at her.
Helena waited him out.
“I have read great philosophers and poets!”
“Then this should be easy.”
Back to glaring.
“Do we need something simpler?” Helena asked.
Damian made a face. “Fine,” he ground out. “See Spot. See Spot run.” He threw the book down on the table. “Are you satisfied?”
She smiled. “Yes, thank you.”
