A swelling, a tenderness. It all starts out slow, with Dennis waking up tangled in his sheets, sweaty and curled up on his side. Dull throbbing in his chest, an ache where his pecs are pressed into the mattress, oddly sensitive. It’s probably nothing. He‘s probably fine.
