Summary
As Commander, duty dictated that he find all the errant notes of a sword swing and turn them into blood-stained arias befitting their lord. He was tasked with turning soft bodies of untrained squires into finely-honed weapons of war. Like any artist, he took great care and pleasure in his work.
There was pleasure in a job well-done, though, and then there was Clive. It also meant that when Clive began to stare, intensely… Murdoch was immediately aware of it.
