I felt myself getting pulled into time. I didn’t know if I would go forwards or backward, but I was not expecting to find myself on DreamXD’s clock.
DreamXD appeared in front of me once I got my bearings. “Hello XD? Why was I sent here?” XD stepped forward and I stepped back. The god held out his hand to show he meant no harm.
“Traveler, I’m sorry. I have failed your world once again. I brought you here to spare you from a painful death. Your world is to be destroyed by the teenage goat hybrid’s nukes,” DreamXD said solemnly while walking forwards to rest a hand on my shoulder. “I believe his name is Tubbo. I’m sorry that I have failed. There is nothing I can do without messing up the cycle of Death and making the Goddess of Death furious.”
“Everyone’s gone… Quackity and Sapnap?” A small ‘not yet’ came from XD as I talked. “Why couldn’t you have left me there?! At least we would be together and happy even if we were dead,” I shoved his hand off my shoulder as tears slipped from my eyes.
“The world is going to be remade and you’ll be placed back with them anyways, so why die painfully?” DreamXD asked while stepping back.
“Because I love them and they're worth any pain,” I said as I forced myself back to the present. As I got back to the present I found myself in our bed alone. I heard talking downstairs and quietly went down to speak to them. “Can we go back upstairs and cuddle?” I asked Quackity and Sapnap. They turned around and nodded, walking over to the stairs.
As we climbed back into bed and got comfortable, I said “I love you” for the last time before it all went white.
