Nat's life has always been shit. It's strange now that her dad is gone. It's better. But she still feels guilty, she was the reason he died. She's haunted by him everywhere she goes.
Shauna's best friend got a boyfriend. She's more lonely now then she's ever been. And with her mom constantly working she's always got the house to herself. Who better to fill the gaps with than someone who really needs a friend. And just maybe they fit really well together.

Nat knows about Van and Tai (Van doesn't want Tai to know she knows) so she waits outside in the cold so V and T can have some alone time.
Nat and Shauna hang out in the car together while they wait for practice to start. They both get along and now have an inside joke.
