As the day was slowing day and there were fewer people in the cafe. Lumine decided that now was a good idea to start per-cleaning. As she stepping out from the counter she sees her coworker Amber and Eula disgusting something but pays no mind as she begins to bust the tables. After coming back from the kitchen to finish the last bit of cleaning Amber shoo her over.
“Lumine do you see that pretty woman sitting down over there?” Amber whispers while pointing to a blue hair woman who was sitting down in the bar area
“You mean Eula?” Lumine whispers back
"Yeah her."
"She's one of our regulars. I thought you knew that since I saw you talking to her a couple minutes ago."
"I know that it's just I want to know if she dating anyone?" Lumine playfully nudges Amber
"Wait you didn't ask when you were talking to her?" Amber playfully shoves her back and turns away in a shy manner
"I was too shy ask. Could you possibly ask for me?” Amber pleas giving her puppy dog eye. Lumine thinking she was helping her friend with her love life wholeheartedly agrees to ask and begin to walk over. Before reaching Eula she turns around to give Amber a soft smile and two thumbs up. Amber replicates the gesture.
"Hey, Eula how are you doing today?" Lumine notices that Eula's whole demeanor goes from stiff to relax when she realizes who it was
“Oh hello Lumine. I’m doing quite well. How about yourself?”
“I’m fine. Thanks for asking. So, I was wondering if you're dating anyone." Eula props her hand against her head
"Why would you ask that?"
"Well, I have a friend who was-“Lumine turn around to see that Amber was nowhere to be seen. Where did Amber go? Before Lumine could even process where Amber was, she didn't realize that Eula was following behind her and was startled when she heard her speak
"Who is this person asking?" Lumine thinking quick on her feet weakly says
"Uh it was me." Eula gets an amused look on her face.
"Oh well do tell me why you want to know that?" Lumine who is internally panicking replies
"Oh you know just for small talk” Eula's eyes darken.
"For small talk? Do you take my dating life as a joke Lumine?” Putting her hand up to signal peace Lumine hurriedly says
“No that's not it. I just think about you a lot and want to know if-.”
“Oh, so you think about me a lot then?" That was when Amber who had made her way behind the counter chimed in
“Yeah Eula. It is only natural Lumine thinks about you because she likes you." After hearing that Eula's eyes light up and she gains a smirk on her face
"Ahh so you decided to take vengeance on me?" Eula asks backing Lumine into a corner
"No it's not- “Eula kabedon Lumine and leans down to look directly at her eyes.
"So, are you lying then? Do truly hate me then?” Lumine shyly looks away
"No that's not what I meant." Eula put her hand on Lumine's face and gently tilts Lumine's head in her direction.
"So, what do you mean by it not that? Do you like me or not?" Lumine gulps
"I-I admire you"
"That's not what I'm asking.” Eula declares while softly squeezing Lumine's checks. Amber chines in again
"Lumine just needs help finding the right words." Eula nods while staring deep into Lumine's eyes.
“So how do you feel about me Lumine?” Lumine blushes
“I-l like you.” Eula swells up in pride before continuing
“How much do you like me.” Her blush gets deeper
"A normal amount- “she feels her checks be squeezed again
"I like you a whole lot. I like the color of your hair, the sound of your voice, and your personality.” Lumine nervously spews out as she further pushes herself into the wall. After she finishes, she waits for Eula's next move, but the only she sees is Eula eyes soften. Amber smiles at the sight of them before adding
"See Eula she just needs help to find the right words." Eula then removes herself from the kabedon leaving the startled Lumine braced against the wall.
"Now that you made your feelings clear to me it's only right for me to respond accordingly." Lumine could see Eula's cheeks faintly grow red.
"I think you're a worthy opponent and it would be a waste for me to let you get away. So tonight, I'll show you such an experience that I will always be the one you think of. That way vengeance will be mine."
“Uh...I can’t..." Lumine stumbles out unable to handle Eula's passionate glaze
“I'm helping Aether close up the café tonight so…" Eula not letting Lumine finish turns in the direction of the kitchen
"Aether!" She shouts causing the other twin to poke his in the frame of the service window
"Yeah?!"
"Does your sister have any prior commitments tonight?"
"Nah she free." He replies going back to his work.
"Hear that Lumine. My vengeance will not be denied.” Lumine resigning to her fate gives Eula a nervous smile
“Okay well can you give me the time and place and I’ll meet- "Eula gently put her finger on Lumine's lips
"Oh there's no need for that." She leans down and gives Lumine a peak on the cheek leaving her stunned
"I'll come pick you up at 8. That way you are not able to escape. So be ready.”She finishes leaving behind a flabbergasted Lumine. She then walks over to Amber and hands her a 100-dollar bill.
"Thank you very much and see you again," Amber calls out as Eula left the store. Amber then breaks the 100 into 2 50 bills and proceeds to give Aether one of the bills. As she walked into the kitchen she joyfully say to the still flabbergasted Lumine.
“Don’t you have a date to get ready for?”
