Lucifer was sitting on the gates of Edën, taking in the glory of this divine sanctuary God had made. Birds in the sky, all the predators and prey sleeping together…it truly was fascinating.
He breathed in the fresh air, the slight wind in Edën sliced through his pure white wings, his shoulder length black hair gently flowed in the breeze, the sunlight fell onto Lucifer’s ocean blue eyes, he really seemed content.
Uriel, one of the archangels that worked along with Lucifer to lead legions and legions of angels stood next to the gates, guarding it like he guards the gates of heaven. Uriel’s long hair, the color of the freshest snow had flowed gently behind him as he also scanned this sanctuary. Nothing but peace and love was seen in Edën as this was what the word “sinless” meant.
“It truley is beautiful…that this is what fathers ideal world is…nothing but peace and love.” Lucifer had sighed out, filled with content as he continued looking out into the openess of this new world.
“You may call it beautiful…but I call it divine.” Uriel then looked up at Lucifer, who was still siting on the gates of Edën with nothing but the calmest composure you could find him in .
“Ah yes…divine does seem to be quite the better word to describe this.” Lucifer then jumped off of the gate, if you ever decided to blink, you would definitely miss it. Uriel watched on in a stoic mannerism, his eyes never losing their bored demeanor. Meanwhle Lucifer had stretched his arms, his porcelain like skin had been illuminated from the sun coming into Edën.
“I’m going to go explore…so I can better understand father, you know.” Lucifer had said, Uriel rolled his eyes before a soft smile played on his lips. Lucifer was known to be eccentric at times that is for sure, although he was undoubtly the strongest angel in heaven, he may look like a pretty face but behind that facade is a monolith of Intelligence and strength.
“At least don’t leave Edën, Lucifer. Remember you promised me that you would help guard!” Uriel had called out, Lucifer however just waved him off as he began to walk away which caused the other archangel to roll his eyes an umpteenth time. “He’s far too much of a carefree go-with-the-flow type of angel…” he then shook his head in disaproval.
Lucifer opened up his wings and began to fly, the gentle breeze was just enough to carry his weight and height. He wore a white cloaked robe endowed with golden accents and brooches. He was very much a bragger but he always did it in a joking and friendly manner as he didn’t want to be directly rude to the angels that respected him which was practically every angel, even Michael, one of the higher ranked angels along with Lucifer and Uriel held Lucifer to a high degree of respect.
He was a very strategic and intelligent leader but he was a way better fighter, even Amadeciel who humanity would later on refer to him as ‘Asmodeus’ and Madriel who would later on be refered to as Mammon could vouch for this as they were two of many angels that were part of Lucifer’s legions of angels.
As the archangel stopped mid-air to take in the glory that is Edën, he noticed what looked to be some sort of forest within the garden, with a peaked curiosity he decided to fly into the forest so he could explore it, ‘maybe there would be different animals here?’ Luicfer had thought to himself before landing once again on his feet.
His sandals against the twigs in the forest made a satisfying ‘crunch’ sound as he walked around, the trees could only be described as huge and full of leaves, the soil was rich and in the soil grew the most beautiful lavender tinted flowers which Lucifer obviously had a look at.
The sunlight shone through the trees and inside some of the trees were nests made out of the branches, flowers, twigs and sticks from the trees and ground. Lucifer knew this was a bird’s doing, what other animal would make a nest in the highest of trees if not a bird?
After maybe 30 minutes of venturing into this forest in Edën, Lucifer had managed to freeze in his tracks, his ears alert to the noises he heard but the most distinct one was…singing? It was a surprise, he thought Adam and Eve were the only beings created in Edën. this voice wasn’t Adam nor Eve. once again his curiosity had peaked so like usual he began to venture deeper, instead of flying he had decided to continue walking.
The voice got louder the closer the Morning Star got but then the singing suddenly stopped.
“Is someone there?” a female had questioned, Lucifer hid behind a tree, not out of fear but because he didn’t want to be caught. “Who is it?” the voice added, Lucifer’s breathing hitched in his throat almost as if he was scared but he wasn’t scared, angels never knew any type of fear whatsoever.
After a few minutes the singing continued, Lucifer, still curious, had decided to continue walking towards the voice only to see a female maybe around 6 ft 8, her hair was as golden as wheat. she was wearing a similar cloaked robe to an archangel but instead it was more of a white robed dress, her wings were that of a mixture of a dragon’s and a bird’s, bird like wings with claws. She was holding a weight scale in one hand, But one thing was for sure:
Her singing was beautiful.
“I thought god only created man and woman…” Lucifer had piped in curiously which startled the angelic figure who then accidentally dropped her scale with a small metal and wooden ‘Thud.’
The female turned to face Lucifer only to reveal 4 eyes, all of them were purple like the galaxy, this reminded Lucifer of the eyes on the Seraph’s wings. “He also created me…watching over the garden just like you archangels…” the female had said, she looked around the forest before picking up her scale, Lucifer looked on in confusion.
“Is it okay if I ask what the scale is for?” Lucifer questioned before gesturing to the creature’s scale.
“I honestly don’t know…when I woke up after I was created I had no sense of what I was nor what this thing was…” she had said, holding the scale up. “It’s called a scale? What is it for?”
‘So she wasn’t weighing anything she was just messing with it’s properties Lucifer thought, he then cleared his throat with his fist before bending down and picking up a small rock and a medium sized stone. After that he sat them on opposite sides of the scale. “These go here and then…” the scale with the stone in it went down while the one occupying the small rock stayed high up. The creature’s 4 eyes lit up in surprise upon finding out what it’s for. “And then if you mess with these it will show you how much the objects weight compare…” he added as he messed with the small metal dials.
“By the way…do you have a name?” Lucifer questioned, the angelic like creature nodded her head in confirmation.
“I woke up near the small river in this forest…when I took a look inside the river I saw my own reflection in which a voice told me that my name was “Lilith.”
“Well it’s quite the pleasure, Lilith, I’m Lucifer, one of god’s archangels.” Lucifer said without losing his friendly disposition. “What are you if not an archangel?” he added.
“Apparently a Guardien Angel…” Lilith had replied with a shoulder shrug.
‘So I was right…’
Lucifer thought once more, he looked up into the sky, Adam and Eve should be sleeping by now, it was quite dark. He was only visiting Edën not spending his whole day here.
“I need to get back to guarding the gates, Lilith…” Lucifer had said, the Guardien Angel however had a look of disapointment on her face.
“Already?” she questioned, the Morning Star nodded his head followed along with a:
“I’m afraid so.”
After that Lilith had asked if Lucifer would come back to the forest, the archangel had said that he would come back every day so he had some company and someone to talk to. This pleased the Guardien Angel a great amount that she had grinned from ear to ear, maybe the cutest smile Lucifer had ever seen.
Lucifer had kept his promise, each day he got to know more and more about the supposed Guardien Angel and each and every day the Guardien Angel got to know Lucifer more. Lucifer can’t lie when he said that Lilith was absolute pefection, from the way she sang to her love of god’s creation of nature, specifically flowers.
But today was different, very different. It was almost as if god made Lilith for Lucifer, just like Eve was Adam’s second half, it felt like Lilith completed Lucifer. It was as if Lucifer was supposed to find Lilith.
“So you have to guard this forest? How come?” Lucifer questioned curiously, this had caught Lilith off guard as she picked another grape from the bunch in Lucifer’s hand as they talked.
“You see that tree over there? The one bearing those red fruits?” Lilith questioned as she pointed over to a tree bearing apples, Lilith must have a really good way of this forest as she was wearing her blindfold right now.
“The apples? Yeah what about them?”
“Well…those are the forbidden fruit…not enirely apples. They look like them but they aren’t. All I have to do is guard it…” she said, taking another grape from the bunch, Lucifer followed suite and popped one into his mouth aswell.
“Forbidden? Could you elaborate?” Lucifer questioned as he looked at the false apple tree.
“These fruits hold wisdom…wisdom humanity would want zero part of if they want to keep their divinity.” the Guardien Angel explained.
“Zero part of…” Lucifer whispered to himself before unintentionally holding Lilith’s hand, the Guardien Angel’s face flushed a blushing red, Lucifer had noticed what he did and pulled away, laughing in a sheepish manner.
“L-Lucifer…?” Lilith questioned as she looked at the hand Lucifer had grabbed. “That was uhm…” she then chuckled sheepishly, her face getting redder and redder.
“Sorry…that was uhm…” the two looked in opposite directions, both laughing sheepishly. “Yeah…sorry Lil-”
“No no…don’t apologize-” Lilith then turned to face Lucifer, Lucifer did the same. “I kind of liked it…” she then looked a bit confused, “I-Is that weird?”
“Hm? No… no it isn’t” Lucifer and Lilith stared into eachother’s eyes with nothing but unadulturated love and affection, Lucifer put his hand on Lilith’s cheek, stroking it gently with his thumb in light circles.
“You know…you truely are perfection, Lilith-” Lucifer said before removing the latter’s blindfold “why must you hide your eyes?”
“You really aren’t disgusted? God gave me four eyes…isn’t that not weird?”
“God doesn’t create mistakes…if he did then you wouldn’t be here…right? But you are perfection…” Lucifer smiled gently at Lilith who then smiled back. “You are my Wife and I wouldn’t change that for a thing…”
“But-” Lilith sighed before hugging Lucifer “even my wings?”
“Yes, even your wings” Lucifer laughed out.
The more they talked the closer their lips met before ultimatley kissing eachother…Lucifer and Lilith then began to kiss eachother, something seen as holy beautiful. Lilith’s arms draped over Lucifer’s shoulders to anchor herself. Lucifer had one of his arms over Lilith’s right shoulder and his left hand still on his cheek as they kissed in a romantic way. It was slow yet passionate, loving yet full of emotion. They truly did love eachother…
After awhile they pulled away, Lucifer and Lilith looked away from eachother, their faces as red as an apple. “That escalated quite…fast…” Lucifer chuckled which Lilith did too but more of an awkward laugh rather than a “haha thats funny” one.
“So…this is what intimacy means…” Lilith said as she looked up into the sun, letting out a sigh of amazement.
“I like it.”
If you love someone so much you’d do anything for them…right? …well in Lucifer’s case he wouldn’t…even if that someone was Lilith.
The next afternoon instead of Lucifer going to see Lilith right away like he promised, he had decided to rebel against god…of course he lost and fell into hell…Lilith wasn’t aware as Lucifer had been lying to her. Lilith, a divine creature who knew nothing but love, care and kindness. A creature who didn’t know what manipulation was.
The day after that, Lucifer was just moments away from tricking Eve into eating the fruit…the day being today and soon…Lilith aswell would become a corrupted creature.
“Well I ate this fruit…and I’m not dead.” Lucifer had said, Eve looked slightly skeptical at the serpant, this beautiful green vibrant snake that was seemingly talking to her, as far as her and Adam knew, they were the only divine beings that could talk other than the angels. And in the moment Eve had thought she was dreaming.
“Well God doesn’t lie…right? If Adam or I ate of this fruit from the tree of knowledge…we should surely die.” Eve responded, she still was skeptical, maybe she should walk away? Maybe she should, she still needed to get things done in the garden before night falls.
“Do you really think a measly fruit could kill you? Maybe God is testing your willpower? Seeing if you would go against the will of a God such as him to become a Goddess yourself.” the serpant replied, Lucifer knew what he was doing, the bugile in his voice was apparent other than to Eve as she never experienced any sort of manipulation or temperant upon her creation.
“To become like God?” Eve asked as she grabbed an ‘apple’ from the tree of knowledge. Her hair was like caramel and her eyes, bright eyed and filled with curiosity as she stared at the fruit.
Now desiring to be like God, her creator, she had ate of the fruit. Lucifer, realizing he was done had then slithered away to go find Lilith.
Meanwhile Lilith who was sleeping 15 minutes ago was now up. She looked around her…the serenity had turned into chaos…
“I hate it” Lilith had said to herself filled with what could only be described as despair, she watched as the turmoil in the clouds and sky caused water to drip from them…this being rain. se watched as animals like wolves started killing the weaker animals like rabbits…this being the first concepts of predator and prey.
This was the first time Lilith had ever cried…despite being a divine creature like the archangels, she didn’t know what manipulation was nor what the concept of the emotion “sad” was. But now she knew what despair felt. Next thing she knows she’s going to get exiled…which she didn’t doubt one bit.
“He lied” Lilith cried out, her voice filled with pain and betrayal. “Is it too late for me to ask to be anihalated?”
“My goodness why must you ask to die?” a familiar voice had questioned from behind him, Lilith turned around to look at Lucifer who had been grinning from ear to ear.
“Why did you do this? Everything was perfect…divine and beautiful…now all I see is death and sin.”
“That is exactly why I did what I did, Lilith…” Lucifer answered, no ounce of guilt on his face nor in his voice. He bent down and brushed the tears from Lilith’s face and smiled softly, all Lilith felt when she looked at Lucifer was fear…all that love for him was gone and instead became a sense of fear and dread.
“crying like this? There is nothing to cry over…right? What is done is done.” the now demon had said as he hugged her, Lilith’s four eyes blinked a few times before another wave of tears slowly began. “You know I love you…I’d do anything for you…i’d hate to see you cry like this…” Lucifer added before kissing Lilith’s forehead, his lips gentle to the touch.
“Then why didn’t you leave Edën alone? It was perfect…full of love and I like the feeling of love-”
“Correction you liked the feeling of love, darling…being goodhearted is tireing…if we add sin into the picture…it makes everything better…More fun. more…interesting” Lucifer explained with nothing but pride and seduction throughout his entire being. His hand then fell only to brush the side of Lilith’s lips. “Lust can be fun too…” he added when he noticed the light in Lilith’s eyes.
Lilith looked at Lucifer with lust throughout her entire being, Lucifer looked at Lilith with lust throughout his entire being aswell and before they knew it…they made out just like yesterday but instead Lucifer had pinned Lilith against a nearby tree and then they kissed…
It was agressive, hidden in a dark corner, there was no love in this make out session…it was only lust and obsessive posession.
“So fucking-” Lucifer whispered inbetween Lilith’s lips before going in again, “Delicious-”, his left hand then made it’s way under Lilith’s robe which in for the first time in Edën…Lilith moaned.
The two began kissing with tongue…both of them exploring the other’s mouth. Lilith liked this feeling more than just normal love…she liked the feeling of Lucifer’s tongue inside her mouth and Lucifer was well aware that she did.
This had been the second corruption of love in Edën the first being Adam and his wife Eve, who was nothing but perfection. These divine beings now only filled with Sin…it was now Lucifer…and his wife, Lilith.
Lucifer became more agressive as they kissed, until utimatley they ended up in a missionary position, still kissing and grinding eachother’s hips together…this…this was Lilith’s first corrupted sense of love…the first corrupted sense of love that she allowed after lust broke in, in the form of a serpant.
“I’m guessing Lucifer got to you aswell?” Michael questioned as he looked at Lilith, the Fallen Angel, startled, had nodded her head in confirmation. “He betrayed me-”
“He betrayed all of us, Lilith-” the brunette replied as he looked at the chaos surrounding what used to be a sanctuary for humanity. “But…you’re now a corrupted being and can’t stay in Edën…”
“I knew that I would lose my place here…but I didn’t think he would betray the love we had” Lilith had said, Michael looked at her with sympathy, Michael wished that Lilith hadn’t gotten tricked…that she could still live happily but now she was a creature of lust…and was stripped of that life.
“God says that you cannot stay…” he repeated which again the Fallen Angel nodded her head. The betrayal in her eyes as Michael walked her to the gates of Edën was evident…Michael saw the pain in her eyes but didn’t want to make it worse so he said nothing.
A cherub waited guard at the gates, she, just like Michael, felt sympathy for Lilith as she was just another victim of Lucifer’s. Once she exited Edën, the cherub sighed in a sense of distress that all of this had happened within 3 days.
“God should have stopped Lucifer…why let free will carry through if he knew what was going to happen?” she had questioned to Michael, Michael however had sighed before flashing the cherub a soft smile.
“This new world…it needed rules and humanity was given a choice on who to follow…whether it was Lucifer…or father.” Michael said, his voice had now been filled with positivity. Even in times like this he still had a positive outlook on a negative situation.
“To stir away from the serpant is to live a sin free life.” the cherub added which Michael had nodded.
“Which is why…after this…the fall of humanity, the angels…Lucifer and Lilith…there are rules that need to be followed to keep that order in place. Then humanity can again experience divinity like they had before…” Michael seemed happy as he said this, but now with Lucifer out of the picture that meant that he would have to be the chief archangel and he wasn’t all that ready for that responsibility…he was used to being under Lucifer but now…logically speaking, Lucifer was under him.
Meanwhile Lilith didn’t know what to do…she didn’t know if Lucifer would come back but she guessed that he wouldn’t. She sat under a tree, she wept once again and it didn’t seem to end. The betrayal she felt was unimaginable. Her heart had broken into millions upon millions of pieces.
So she sat there, wiping the tears from all four of her eyes, she hadn’t been paying attention but then she felt a hand on her shoulder…the same gentle hand of Lucifer…
“Get away from me…” Lilith had said to Lucifer, the morning star sighed but he didn’t leave which then made her even more angry. “Get away from me” she repeated but this time with hate…and disdain. All of that love she had for Lucifer vanished in just 4 words.
“Why would I get away from you? I lo-”
“And I hate you…you ruined everything…you ruined humanity you…you betrayed me…my trust…” Lilith cried out, she wasn’t aware of these new emotions but she didn’t care. “Just go back to hell where you belong…go…go celebrate with your fellow fallen-”
“You fell too though…right? The moment we made out against that tree…was the moment you also fell…” Lucifer had said quietly, not wanting to enrage the Fallen Angel any more.
“Even if so…even if I let lust take over my being…that doesn’t change the fact that you allowing sin to enter Edën caused my downfall aswell…”
“You act as if I don’t care about you…” Lucifer said, his eyes that were once blue turning a hot pink as they glowed in the dark.
“Because you don’t…you never did!” Lilith yelled, Lucifer was taken aback and from here the two would bicker and spout fruitless nonsense all night as Lucifer kept claiming that he loved the Fallen Angel while the Fallen Angel claimed that she hated the demon prince infront of her.
Lucifer, realizing that all of this argueing was childish had decided to disapear into the night, Lilith, realizing that Lucifer was all she had, had started crying once more before angrily taking God’s name in vein and walking away from the tree she had been sitting under.
“Stupid fucking God exiling me for the stupidest fucking reason GOD I hope this world burns I want to cause forest fires….that sounds fun haha…dammit Lilith just gonna act like you’re better than…actually yeah you’re better than god haha-” and on and on and on she ranted as she walked farther and farther from the garden.
Lilith contemplated what happened, she didn’t know what to do, where to go…how to go about life. she hated it and she honestly wanted to die.
After a few minutes she had decided to follow Lucifer, not because she was weak but because she didn’t want the only being she actually loved to leave her.
“Lucifer…wait-” Lilith had said, her wings flapping in the air as she caught up to the ex archangel.
“I thought you hated me…why follow?” he questioned, not meeting the shorter angel’s eyes.
“Please…don’t leave me…please-” Lilith called out, but Lucifer just rolled his eyes.
“Lilith…you’re not worth my time anymore…” Lucifer spat with disdain in his voice, Lilith froze in her tracks, instead of arguing she swallowed her words.
“please…Lucifer don’t…don’t leave…me-” Lilith pleaded, her golden hair flowing in the wind as she held her cloak together. “I…I’m not worthless…please-” she added desperatley, Lucifer rolled her eyes again.
“Now that I think about it…you are a freak…shall I start calling you 4 eyes?” Lucifer growled before laughing. “Or a sad little ugly thing?”
Lilith covered her lower eyes with his hands in a sense of discomfort “please…is this a joke?”
“I swear to god if you start crying-” just as Lucifer said this tears of anger and sadness flowed from his eyes before flying away in a huff leaving Lilith all alone… the very angel that promised that he would never leave….
Lilith had then started to fly towards another tree, she sat on the tree and burried her face in her arms and just like that…she cried once again.
“Might aswell just call me a ‘peasant’ since I’m so worthless…” Lilith muttered to herself.
“Why are you crying?” a voice said…
Lilith turned to her side only to see a Raven, it was beautiful, black yet very beautiful.
“Why are you crying?” a raven questioned, it wasn’t moving it’s beak so Lilith guessed it was another divine creature if it was speaking to her with it’s mind.
“Great I’m hallucinating.” Lilith muttered, her voice dripping to a whisper filled with pain.
“I’m afraid not.” the raven said, cocking it’s head before hopping closer to the fallen angel. “Whatever happened to make you cry?” he asked.
“Betrayal…” Lilith said, you could hear the sadness in her voice as she said this, her eyes were red from the amounts of tears she shed today.
“Betrayal…” the raven repeated. “And who is this person that betrayed you?
“Lucifer Morningstar…he was one of god’s most beautiful of creations…”
“Did you love him? Or do you hate him?” the raven had asked out of practically nowhere but Lilith was too much in pain to ask why he wanted to know.
“I love him very much…he’s my husband…my world…I’d do anything for him but-” Lilith sniffled before rubbing her eyes and yawning.
“But?”
“He betrayed me…my trust. Sometimes I wonder if what we had was real…or just another one of his manipulation tactics-” the fallen angel looked into the night sky, smiling softly. “We had such amazing…crazy sex…I’d love to have it again…” she added as her second set of eyes opened up.
“Crazy sex….” the raven repeated. “How come??”
“We were argueing…and we did spout nonsense…I just wish I didn’t get exiled from my home…or what I considered as a home-” Lilith yawned once more. “He also called me a freak because of my four eyes…”
“A freak? He talked to me…”
“Who? Lucifer?” Lilith questioned, the raven nodded his head for confirmation which caused all four of Lilith’s eyes to light up in surprise.
“He said that you were his little dove…that is how he saw you…he always refered to you as “the beautiful dove in Edën” he thought you were adorable…not a freak, Lilith.”
“I’m…h-how do you know my name?” Lilith questioned skeptically, the raven sighed and next thing she knew Lucifer sat in place of the raven, the fallen angel, Lilith, felt even more betrayed that he had the audacity to come back after the hurtful things he said to her.
“Please…hear me out…” Lucifer had said, Lilith rolled her eyes before standing up and opening her wings, getting ready to take off. “I’m sorry-”
Lilith paused, her wings slowly folded back in, she looked down at Lucifer “you’re sorry? Now you want to apologize to your little dove?” Lilith questioned, her voice filled with disdain.
“Lilith-”
“Oh no the devil doesn’t do anything wrong.” Lilith replied sarcastically.
“Lilith…please listen…just this once…”
“Fine…lets hear it…your excuse.” Lilith had then sat back down on the tree branch, looking up into the sky instead of her husband, trying to find some sort of light of hope in the night sky.
“I shouldn’t had said that to you…you arent a freak…you’re unique in your own right…” he began, he sighed and turned to face the sky “I know me rebelling meant losing your trust…I did what I did because I felt…angered. I hated how heaven worked…I can’t pretend that I am a happy person anymore.” Lucifer had so much grief, anger and disdain pent up, it was evident, the way he sat on the tree in a slouching position as he held his knees or the way his eyes had some sort of sad light in it.
“I was never allowed in heaven so I wouldn’t know…” Lilith finally said, she then finally looked back at Lucifer. “I was told to stay in Edën…god would send his most generous of angel’s, Amadeciael, to bring me food from heaven to eat…I wonder how heaven is..I bet it’s beautiful.
“It is…it’s very…wait…did…did you just say ‘Amadeciael?” Lucifer questioned in shock before chuckling sheepishly. “He uhm…he rebelled with me…and the rest of the angels that were under me…”
“I kind of figured…the 2nd day in Edën he didn’t come…after him it was Gabriel-”
“I see…” Lucifer watched as Lilith yawned again, her eyes drooped, she was visibly tired and Lucifer was slightly amused. “Are you tired?”
“I can’t lie when I say that I am very tired…” Lilith then chuckled grogily, Lucifer, realizing that Lilith was on the verge of passing out had jumped off of the tree and helping Lilith down. Lilith, showing that she forgave Lucifer had rested her head on the other fallen angel’s shoulder as they walked.
“I love you, Lilith.”
