"Izuku?"
Izuku hummed, eyes never leaving his phone as he was currently reading the new chapter of his favorite omegaverse fanfic.
"What the fuck is 'Omegaverse'?"
Izuku almost threw his phone upon hearing that. His head turning to his fiancé so fast it's concerning.
"W-what? C-can you repeat that, Kacchan?"
Katsuki frowned before sitting beside him on their bed as Izuku turned off his phone and tucked it to his chest. His full attention now on his Kacchan.
"I accidentally read this notification on your phone, and it has this word 'omegaverse' in it, and like, what does it mean?" His Kacchan sounds genuinely confused and interested, Izuku wants to coo so bad, and he will if his fiancé isn't asking him about freaking omegaverse.
Should he explain it to him?
If yes, then how?!?
Does he like, tell Kacchan everything about Omegaverse? Or just the, well, basics...?
"Well," Izuku pursed his lips, thinking of how to handle this situation properly without ticking off or sca(r)ring his fiancé.
Katsuki's just staring at him with his curious red eyes, waiting.
"Did you do a quick research about this topic?" The green-haired asked, and Katsuki shook his head slowly.
"... no. I mean, I saw it on your phone, so the first thing in my mind is to ask you about it." The blond answered.
Izuku hummed again while nodding his head.
Okay, understandable. But now he really needs to explain it to his Kacchan.
Maybe, just the basic is fine for now...
"Promise me you'll keep you mind very open while we're having this... conversation." He said as his green eyes staring back at Katsuki.
Of course, having an open mind is a must while talking about topics like this.
Katsuki frowned but then he nodded his head albeit a little skeptically, "Oh-kay. Promise."
"Okay!" Izuku clapped his hands once, his whole demeanor changing as he got comfortable on their bed, "First, Omegaverse is a subgender of speculative erotic fiction and originally a subgender of erotic fan fiction." Izuku stopped at that, waiting for Kacchan's confirmation that he's understanding everything he's saying.
"Hn. So, it's fiction?" The blond asked, clarifying.
"Yes! It's all fiction!" Izuku confirmed making Katsuki nods again.
"Okay, continue."
Izuku smiled so sweetly, "Alright then! Welcome to the omegaverse, Kacchan, where humans are humans but not really. They're a little bit more animalistic." Izuku showed his fingers to Katsuki as he said 'a little bit', showing him visually how 'little' Izuku means.
"Animalistic?"
"Hm-mm! There are three designations for humans, which is why omegaverse is sometimes referred to as A slash B slash O." The green-haired continued.
"You mean, like," Katsuki tilted his head a little, "The blood groups?"
Izuku can't help but to snorts a laugh at that.
"Kacchan, no. Not the blood groups." He giggles some more when Katsuki just looks at him in confusion, "I mean, as in Alphas, Betas, and Omegas."
"Ah..." Katsuki crosses his arms over his chest as he leaned on their headboard. "Got it. Continue."
"In omegaverses, the majority of people are betas, which are like normal everyday humans like you and me, but alphas and omegas are different. They're... special." Izuku said, specifying the word 'special' as he said it with hand gestures.
"You mean, betas are the normal, boring extras in Omegaverse?" Katsuki almost deadpanned, and Izuku squeaked, shocked and a little offended.
"Hey! They aren't- they are not boring extras!" He defended but couldn't help the short laughs he let out.
Betas are not boring!
Well, they aren't if they are the main characters. Making the main character a beta gives an omegaverse story a lot of interesting spices and plots.
"Yeah, sure..." Katsuki said, clearly not convinced. "How 'bout the other two? Alphas and Omegas?"
At that, Izuku perks up, "Oh! Let's continue with the alphas! Uh, it gets a little bit incel-y and it does a little bit play into, like negative machismo stereotypes, but we just look past it, and we're like, 'it's fiction, it's fine'." Izuku's wildly gesturing with his hands now as his fiancé just stared at him, waiting for him to continue.
"So, alphas! Think of someone who's jacked up on testosterone and how they would behave. Alphas can be female, but at least in the majority of Omegaverses that I've come across, they're usually male." Izuku explained.
"Of course..." is Katsuki's reply to Izuku's last words, eyes squinting a little bit at his green-haired fiancé before asking, "So, alphas are like someone on steroids?"
"Yeah!" Izuku stopped before tilting his head, a little unsure, "Yeah...? Yeah. Right. Except they also have the ability to smell pheromones coming off an omega."
"Ah, so there's the 'animalistic' shit came from or something." Katsuki said as he nodded his head in understanding.
"Well, yeah..." Izuku trailed off because Kacchan's not wrong, but again, this is just the basics, and there's... more.
"So, we're done with the alphas. Now, omegas! My favorite." Izuku said excitedly, " Omegas are more, much rarer. They are the rarest, like, subgender in the omegaverse. They need..." Izuku stopped again, fingers coming up to play with his lower lip because he doesn't know how to word the next information out.
"Need...?" Katsuki leaned a little forward, intrigued at Izuku's sudden pause.
"They need a lot of, uh, G.D.D-ing...? Pft..." Izuku hides his face on his hands as he laughs in his own embarrassment and of how stupid that word (is that even a word?) he used.
"G.D- what?" Katsuki frowned, staring at Izuku's shaking shoulders.
"Oh my god," Izuku laughs a little more before, "This is so... okay. G.D.D-ing is a good deep dicking." He blurted out, looking up to stare back at his fiancé.
"Good deep dicking- okay." is what his Kacchan replied.
"Okay. Yeah. Pft..." Izuku took a deep breath to calm himself before continuing, "It's not even like, gender stereotypes. It's sex stereotypes and, like, dialing up anything you would assume is associated with hormones. Hence, why omegas go into heat as humans..."
Katsuki held his hand up, stopping Izuku.
"Heat? Like when female animals become sexually receptive and are like, ready for mating?" The blond asked, and Izuku nodded his head rapidly.
"Yes! You got it, Kacchan! It's called 'heat cycles' in Omegaverse." He confirmed, "That being said, when they go into heat, they kind of like lose their mind, and they needed a lot of sex. A lot of sex to get them through their heat. If they don't have a partner while they're in heat, it's bad news. Like seriously, it's bad news for everyone." Izuku added.
"Is that why they are your favorite?" Katsuki suddenly asked.
Izuku tilted his head to the side again, confused, "Huh?"
"Because sometimes you act like you're in heat, too-"
"I don't- Kacchan!" The green-haired man uses the pillow near him to smack the laughing blond.
"Okay, stop! Fuck. Okay, you don't act like you're in heat. Yeah, right." Katsuki surrendered, even raising both of his hands.
Izuku's eyes squinting at him for a second before the green-haired huffs, "Okay, so continuing, because omegas go into heat, they release all these pheromones and then the alphas are like," Izuku stopped to sniffed aggressively, demonstrating.
It's Katsuki's turn to smack him using the pillow, stopping him from doing what he's doing.
"What the fuck? Stop. That looked so weird." The blond said and almost tackling his fiancé when Izuku acted like he's running while sniffing wildly, "Izuku! Stop!"
Izuku laughs hard, shielding his face from Katsuki's assaults, "And, hah, yup! They really want that."
"That's weird as fuck." Katsuki stated.
"Wait till you read the other... things, Kacchan. The dead dove ones." Izuku mused.
Katsuki looked at him as if he's judging Izuku as he grumbles, "I feel like I need to fucking expect the unexpected."
"You really do!" The green-haired smiled sweetly at his Kacchan before asking, "Wanna know what knotting is?"
The blond raised his eyebrows at that, "Knotting? The act of tying knots?"
"Figured you'd say that," Izuku chuckles before shaking his head, "But, no, Kacchan. Knotting is a specific thing that happens when the male anatomy... engorges...? Yeah. Think of like the lower part of the schlong-"

"You have any recommendations?" Katsuki cut him off again and this time, Izuku's full attention and his body turning to his fiancé who's smirking at him.
With big green eyes, Izuku asks, "Recommendations? Like, stories?"
Katsuki's smirk dropped, and then he's glaring at him, "Duh?!"
"Are you sure, Kacchan?" He asked again because he just wanted to make sure-
"Of-fucking-course-"
Izuku almost jumped at his fiancé upon hearing that, his phone on his hand, and he almost slammed it on Katsuki's face.
"Wah! So, this is the first omegaverse fic I've ever read-"
