Work Text:
Katsuki came home with a sigh in his throat, just waiting for the moment he'd open the door and be met with the prettiest eyes and the most beautiful smile and the sweetest lips to kiss. Today was a terribly tiring day at his work study and all he needed was his Eijiro.
He really needed a hug, he needed to bury himself in his neck, let Eijiro run his fingers in his hair until he fell asleep. God he needed his boyfriend.
With a knock on Eijiro’s door, he opened his own, not taking a second to flop down on his bed and finally let out his sigh.
Eijiro knocked on his open door, coming in with a “Hey, baby! You're back! Man, they had you late today.”
He was lucky Eijiro knew him well enough to know he didn’t have the brain energy to greet him.
His boyfriend came to where he was laying on his bed, his head laying on his crossed arms, to kiss him.
“Hmm, needed that.” Eijiro whispered, kissing him again. “Missed you.”
Katsuki puckered his lips again before he gestured towards his arm with his chin and Eijiro nodded.
“Tiring day, love?”
He nodded his head once, feeling Eijiro settle on his side. His boyfriend kissed his cheek lightly, and he uncurled his arm to bring Eijiro closer, wrapping around his neck. The weight of Eijiro’s head on his chest made his heart skip, even more so when he draped an arm across his stomach.
“Do you want to sleep or are you hungry?”
Katsuki hummed, turning to kiss his temple, his cheek.
“Hungry? Okay,” Eijiro said. “Do you want those super spicy noodles you like? I can go make some for you. Ah--one kiss for no, two kisses for yes.”
Katsuki shook his head, his boyfriend was such an adorable little dork. He kissed Eijiro on his lips once, twice.
Eijiro grinned, clearly happy that he gave in, “Okay. Right now?”
He gave him a single peck.
“Later?”
He reached over to turn Eijiro’s face toward him properly, giving him one kiss, then a second. His cute boyfriend chuckled against his lips, almost giggling, and he could always feel his pretty smile in his heart.
“Later then,” he grinned. This is exactly what Katsuki needed after a long night. Eijiro’s joy that was so radiant that it made his own heart lighter. His smiles and his laughter and his pretty lips against his.
“Want me to tell you about my day?”
He kissed Eijiro twice, and his beautifully sweet boyfriend graced him with his beautifully sweet laughter again.
He turned his body to face Eijiro’s, touching their noses together.
Eijiro kissed him before starting, “Okay. So Denks and I had the day off from our work studies so we just chilled. I made him do some homework because he was behind and---”
He laughed, proud of his normally lazy boyfriend for making someone else do homework. He kissed him lightly as he talked, his words mumbled into his lips.
“We finished up pretty quickly, cause once Denki is on a roll he just doesn't stop, you know? And then afterwards we went to the common room and I watched him play some video games and we took turns when we died. Hey! You haven't had the chance to play the new Zelda, have you?”
He kissed him once.
“This weekend, then?”
One, two small pecks.
Eijiro chuckled again, “You're so cute. I love you so much, Katsuki.”
He grinned, his heart always swooning and his eyes always watering with joyous tears despite hearing this all the time now. He'd never get over the fact, the cosmic luck, of Eijiro somehow loving him back.
His eyes fluttered shut as Eijiro went on with his talk about his day, going into a story of how he made himself dinner. He basked in the comfort of the rumble of Eijiro’s voice against his chest, the warmth of his boyfriend’s strong, solid body pressed against him. He felt Eijiro’s fingers scratching at his scalp, and he hummed appreciatively.
“You falling asleep?”
One, two kisses.
Eijiro laughed lightly, “Okay, angel. You can sleep on me, okay? I got you. Want me to keep talking? Feel free to kiss me your answer.”
He snorted just a little, kissing Eijiro twice. He hooked his leg over his hips, arms wrapped around Eijiro’s chest as he took a deep breath.
“Night, love. I'll wake you up for food later, okay?”
He kissed Eijiro’s shoulder in response, and Eijiro kissed his head right back.
“So for dinner I ate some…”
Katsuki closed his eyes again, drifting off to the sound of Eijro’s voice, the feeling of his hands running up and down his skin, and small kisses placed all over his head. He couldn't be any happier. He's never been so in love. Fuck, this was all he needed. This is all he'd ever need.
