Sky POV
It's so rare that I wake up before Prapai with how early he goes to work but I have shopping to do with Rain so I'm up early.
Sometimes it's hard to believe how my life is going now. I've graduated with an amazing job lined up, amazing friends, and the greatest boyfriend that I could possibly imagine. He looks so beautiful sleeping with the sun rays cascading over his face.
Laying here, everything feels so peaceful and perfect that I wish it could just go on forever.
I guess something could be done about that.....
"I know I'm gorgeous but you could at least wake me up if you want to stare at me," Prapai whispers. When did he wake up.
"Hmm, what for."
"So I could look at you too."
"You're ridiculous."
"Maybe. What were you thinking about, you seemed happy?"
Here it goes. "I think I'm ready," I tell him.
"For?"
"To marry you," saying it out loud only made me more sure.
Prapai POV
I feel like I'm going to explode. Can you explode out of happiness?
"Is that so?" I ask him going my best not to squeal like a teenage girl getting noticed by a singer at a concert.
"It is."
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind love."
We lay together for a few minutes before he has to get ready to meet up with Rain. I can't believe this is real.
Images of that day on the beach swirl in my mind. I've had a proposal planned since we spoke that day. Not to mention I got a ring as soon as we got home. All too soon Sky is headed out the door. I quickly pick up my phone to call Rain before he leaves Phayu.
"Hey Prapai, I was just leaving to meet Sky. Is everything okay?" Rain says when he picks up that phone.
"Everything is perfect, is Phayu with you?" I ask. This will be much easier if I can talk to both of them at the same time.
"Yeah he's right here hold on," Rain says as he puts the phone on speaker.
"Hey man whats up?," Phayu's voice calls over the phone.
"I'm proposing tonight so I need Sky home on time and you guys at dinner."
"We can manage that," Phayu says.
The next couple hours are spent calling my family, his dad, and the last few of our friends so they can be here for dinner. He is going to figure out my plan pretty quick but that doesn't matter. I just want him to be happy.
After I'm done on the phone with my brother I text Rain the time to get Sky home and start setting up for dinner. I can the house top to bottom and put everything out on the long table we almost never use, we typically opt to sit at the coffee table.
Time Skip
I get dressed it something pretty simple, just some black dress pants, a white button up with the top few undone, and a simple silver chain necklace. I roll up my sleeves before going into my closet and getting the ring from where I had it hidden.
It's a simple silver band with a black stripe around the circumference. It isn't the most expensive ring on the planet but it's what he would like the most.
Slowly everyone starts arriving and making conversation. It's all so peaceful as I look around but I still feel like my heart is pounding out of my chest.
I know he said he wanted this and that I have nothing to worry about but I want everything to be perfect for him. I don't have to long to worry before the door opens and I lock eyes with Sky.
Sky POV
Holy shit. I knew he would want to propose pretty quickly but I didn't realize that meant the SAME DAY. Though I probably should have. Especially with how extra smiley Rain has been all day.
I look around and see everyone from dad to our shared friends smiling at me. He put so much effort in and got so much done so fast that it makes my heart swell and proves just how ready for this we are.
"P'Pai-"
"I'm sure you know what's happening now but can I give my speech first?" he asks walking up to me.
I nod quickly unable to form words.
"I still remember locking eyes with you for the first time. After we met I couldn't get you out of my head and I knew that I needed you in my life. Everyday my love for you grows more and more even when I think I can't love you more I look into your eyes and get proven wrong. I am so happy you accepted me into your life. I honestly would have married you after the first couple months but I would have waited the rest of my life to do this but will you please marry me?" He gets down on his knee and pulls out a beautiful ring. By now we both have tears in our eyes and I'm sure everyone else is too.
"Of course"
