Summary
Steve has a terrible girlfriend that Eddie learns to loathe. Steve then discovers that maybe the way he feels about his friend isn’t entirely heterosexual, and Eddie is weak for Steve Harrington; Eddie can’t say no.

Because Steve was no longer an enigma; someone that sat on the periphery of Eddie’s life. Steve was now an intrinsic part, a valued friend, a comrade in their battle to save the town they both tolerated because it was home to the people they loved.
