Hello! Welcome! This is just an explanation of the universe I write my Måneskin fanfictions in. While the stories I write aren't meant to be taken as all actually happening in the same universe, I do apply the same basic ideas to all of them and I figured it might be helpful for people to know the framework I use and this way I don't have to explain every time.
So let's meet my versions of the Månecule!
Damiano
My Damiano is a complicated creature. Most of the time a deeply insecure, struggling man who just wants to be able to let himself be loved but is always worried that he'll make a mistake and end up alone. Over time is able to accept his own bisexuality and become more open about his mental health problems, which can be quite self destructive at their worst. Sometimes a trans woman, sometimes not, that mostly depends on my mood. Prefers to be submissive in relationships, he likes to be taken care of and not have to think. No stress only good girl. Deeply connected to kitties, flirty, a little bitchy, and so much more lovable than he thinks he is. Traumatized by the accumulation of sexual mistreatment from fans over the years, but very resistant to talking about it because he thinks it shouldn't affect him as much as it does.
Dating Ethan, very loved by him and doing his best to keep his relationships as healthy as possible but sometimes we all need to crash and be a little bit of a spoiled brat. His relationship with Ethan is very spiritual, deep, and helps him to allow himself to express negative aspects of his personality without constantly thinking people will hate him for it. He also has an on and off semi-romantic relationship with Vic, but they're mostly together for intense kink scenes he can't get from his other partners. Occasional flings with Leo too because it's fun why not.
Ethan
Ethan is my precious favorite baby son and I try to make my love for him come across in my work. Far less insecure than Damiano but he does have some of his own problems, mostly internalized ableism. My Ethan is autistic with very little ability to mask. He experiences motor tics and is mostly sensitive to light. I write a lot of myself into his autistic experience, but I do still struggle to communicate it in a way that's understandable without being patronizingly explicit about it. I also tend to write him as semiverbal, not able to talk very much so he tries to save his words for times he has no choice, like in interviews. He has plenty of thoughts and things to say, just not the words to do it with. Genderfluid, usually goes by he/him but sometimes switches it up. Doesn't like to label himself because who knows how he'll feel tomorrow. He's sweet and cares deeply about everyone in his life, but wishes he could express it in more "normal" ways.
Only really dating Damiano, but still has an intense connection with the other members of the band. Sometimes sleeps with Vic but they're more like sisters.
Victoria
A fun, flirty party girl who's decided her goal is to live fast forever. Takes nothing seriously unless asked to, and then she's a good shoulder to cry on. Won't let the people she loves waste away in their own misery, and tries to get them to look on the bright side after letting them vent. Fucked in the gender, functionally a lesbian but definitely won't limit herself. Down for just about anything, anytime. Bullies people as a love language, especially Ethan. Can go from bright sunny best friend to domme willing to fuck you to the edge of death in an instant.
Primarily with Thomas, but their relationship isn't romantic. She functions as his queerplatonic partner and full time domme, but their relationship is open and she likes to experiment with all different activities and kinds of people.
Thomas
I don't really have a lot of development for Thomas, I just don't have the right handle on him. He is, however, apathetic to gender, doesn't care how people refer to him, and isn't interested in romantic relationships. He's Vic's full time sub and doesn't really want to be involved with anyone else at the moment.
