"Tosh it's 8 o'clock go home" Jack said. Toshiko had been working on new programming for the rift activity predictor all day as far as Jack new she hadn't even stopped for food.
"What for?" Asked Tosh bleary eyed.
"Dinner, a hobby, human contact" Jack suggested.
"I'm fine without thanks" Tosh replied eyes still glued to her computer monitor.
"I haven't seen you eat anything all day" said Jack.
"I don't need food" Tosh replied absentmindedly.
"Cmon Tosh just stop for a quick break and some pizza? For me?" He made puppy dog eyes at Tosh.
"Fine" Tosh stood up and everything started spinning and she ended up tumbling back into her chair. hmm maybe some pizza wouldn't be a bad idea round about now.
"Can you stand?" Asked Jack.
"I can try" Toshiko responded.
"Here I've got you" Jack lifted Tosh up and helped her to the couch they sat in contented silence eating pizza together.
"So any particular reason your trying to commit suicide by excessive computer coding" asked Jack.
"I didn't mean to I just got distracted I was mad at Owen and needed something to focus on" explained Tosh.
"Ah Owen, he is a pain in the ass, amazing kisser though" said Jack.
"What! Jack you didn't " giggled Tosh.
"Didn't what Toshiko? How do you know it wasn't a friendly kiss between co workers" said Jack trying to sound innocent.
"You really did that" said Toshiko amused.
"Yup I think I've still got the CCTV footage lying about somewhere I can show you if-" he said teasingly. Tosh held up a hand to shut him up "what I don't know I will never have to explain to whoever the HR people for this place are" she said only half joking.
"Well if your not planning on leaving you might as well stay and keep me company" he suggested hurriedly adding "that's not a line I know it sounds like a line but it's not" he explained hurriedly.
"I'll stay if there's more pizza" Tosh says
"No pizza I've got skittles though " Jack offered
"Skittles sounds good" said Tosh
"What's your favourite flavour?" Asked Jack.
"There all the same flavour the colour tricks you into thinking they're different " said Tosh.
"Nope I refuse to believe that " Jack answered
"The red ones are pretty good though" Tosh admitted.
"I think I'm going to head home" Tosh decided. It was 11pm she and Jack had been talking for ages it was nice Tosh didn't have many friends.
"See ya tomorrow Tosh " said Jack
