Since meeting at medical school in 1992, Owen Harper and Y/N L/N have been inseparable, and very quickly irreversibly in-love, finding themselves unable to live without one another. After a year of tiptoeing around their feelings, and then finally getting together in 1993, engaged in 1996, married in 2003, and then finding themselves suddenly dragged into the world of Torchwood due to tragic circumstances involving Y/N’s near death, life for them has been anything but easy, especially now they were two years deep into their constant mission to save the world, under the command of Jack Harkness. And let’s just say life wasn’t about to let up anytime soon, that was for sure.
Disclaimer: This fic does follow the show, but Jack will disappear after the end of series 1. Never returning to the team after the events of Doctor Who series 3. But there are alot of originals storylines too! And Owen and Y/N will have a daughter pretty early on in this story, and there will be dad!Owen in this fic. I tried to make it as background as I could for those who don’t like pregnancy tropes but there’s definitely some nice moments in here with Owen as a dad :)

Jones gives him a somewhat reprimanding look, as if to say no, it isn’t. Jack winces. “I’m not—” His throat kind of catches. “I’m not an animal. I don’t bite.”
“That’s not what they told me.”
Shit. The thing is, they’re right. He did bite his first warden. More specifically, he tore the guy’s throat out with his teeth.
Jack announces, perhaps idiotically, “I won’t bite you.”
