The neighbours take care to avoid the House, but there are some, newcomers usually, who are foolish enough to ask about the rooms for rent. The neighbours avoid them too, the tenants, who seem to become stranger and stranger with every moment they spend there.
The House is a fact of life, and it won't be going anywhere anytime soon... or perhaps ever.

Summary
It always bothered me that 5 and Susan don’t talk during the special. I understand it’s because of the stupid reason of the producers not wanting to imply the Doctor had had sex, but come on! She’s his granddaughter! I hoped that based on the Day of The Doctor novelisation that this interaction between 5 and Susan would take place in the novelisation of The Five Doctors because it wasn’t on-screen, but no such luck.
So this is hopefully a good representation of what should’ve happened when 5, Tegan, and Susan left the Tardis to get to the Dark Tower. The scene closes by following into the dialogue of the scene with the Master. I’m not great at this sort of thing so the quality will be a bit all over the place, but I hope the dialogue is satisfactory.

Summary
1971. A Soviet cosmonaut in orbit encounters the impossible: a Dalek—then a blue box. Pulled into post-apocalypse London, Sergei and the Tenth Doctor must unravel why a Dalek Time Strategist has hijacked the Dalek invasion of Earth.
______The story is set in the Tenth Doctor era, mashed into a First Doctor story, thanks to an insolent Dalek Time Strategist hijacking that narrative.
Timey-whimey, you know.
Much of the Dalek's appeal is due to the incredible design work of Raymond Cusik, who deserves at least as much credit as Terry Nation.
Originally horribly mutated survivors of a nuclear war, they were selfish and nasty in their first appearance. They make wonderful one-note villains; but I thought it might be interesting to give them a little more depth while also reinforcing their narrative function.
The story features several distinct Dalek characters and gets into their headspace, which wouldn't be possible in the TV show.
