Summary

All they've known is the barren (in many ways) environment where they were forced to be tough in order to get by. Now, they finally have the opportunity to leave for good, and choose to go to Hoenn. What will adventure bring them in this lush region? Are there going to be issues here too? And will their hearts finally manage to open after being largely closed off for so long?
This fic takes place in the aftermath of I Will Touch The Skies, so reading that fic first might be necessary, although most things should be explained here even if you don't want to do that.
