Akito woke up from an unpleasant smell in the kitchen.
It was currently 9 in the morning and the smell from the kitchen had gotten stronger. It was like.. smoke?
When he had realized it, Akito immediately rushed to the kitchen, Finding Toya cooking something and black smoke was coming out of the pan.
Toya had noticed his rushed footsteps and tried to fan the smoke with his hand.
"Ah, Good morning, Akito."
Even when the smoke was nearly suffocating both of them, This guy still had the nerve to smile.
"Toya.. What did you do?"
Akito looked at Toya, Who was still trying to fan out the smoke. He could hear him cough loudly. He sighed and walked over to him and got Ena's fan from the couch. He started fanning the smoke with it.
After moments of fanning the smoke, Akito glanced at Toya and crossed his arms. One of his eyebrows was raised. He was hoping for an explanation as to why his kitchen was almost burned down. Thank god Ena had a sleepover with her friend group at Yoisaki's house.
Since Akito would be home alone as to his father didn't come home for reasons unknown, He decided to call Toya to come over to talk about the song they were planning on releasing. What he didn't know it would take the whole day. So instead of making Toya come home late at night, Akito asked if Toya wanted to sleep over at his house, to which he agreed.
Toya scratched his head nervously. He didn't want to upset Akito but he needed to tell the truth. He took a deep breath as if he was going to perform.
"I.. I wanted to cook breakfast for you. And cook snacks for practice later. I'm sorry, Akito." Toya felt guilty for burning his ingredients. Akito sighed again and reached his hand out to ruffle the taller one's hair.
"You could have woken me up first. I would've helped."
"I didn't want to. You were sleeping so soundly. You were even snoring a bit." Toya chuckled. A subtle rosy hue crept across Akito's cheeks in embarrassment.
"...You didn't have to say that but whatever." He looked away from him. He glanced at the mess on the stove. He saw the ingredients on the counter. It seems like he was trying to make pancakes (God, He almost kissed Toya on the spot for that.)
"You can start by washing the pan." Akito gave him instructions on how to wash it and Toya immediately got to work.
Akito wiped the counter that was covered in flour. He appreciates the thought that he wants to cook for him but he didn't want him trying to burn down his kitchen.
Eventually, As 30 minutes elapsed, The kitchen was finally sparkling clean once again. Akito turned to Toya who was smiling at him while holding the pan out to him, As if he had accomplished the hardest task in this household.
Akito had already prepared the necessary ingredients on how to make pancakes. He sifted the dry ingredients to the bowl. Toya on the other hand was tasked to mix the wet ingredients together. Then, He added the wet ingredients in the bowl with dry ingredients when Akito gestured to him. He took the opportunity to stir the ingredients together, Not missing the chance of dipping his finger on the batter every now and then. (He washed his hands, Don't worry.) Which causing Akito to lightly flick his forehead, Scolding him for dipping his finger in the batter.
It was time to cook the pancakes. Akito scooped a fair amount of batter on the pan as he gave instructions on how to properly pour the batter on the pan. Toya watched over his shoulder, Trying to learn quietly. They needed to wait a few minutes before flipping the pancake to the other side. Akito gave the spatula to Toya and he looked quite confused before realizing that he would be the one flipping it. He took a deep breath. Akito was giving him instructions on how to do it.
Toya carefully slid the spatula under the pancake and lifted it up, Successfully flipping it to the other side.
"Akito! I did it!" Toya cheered. He smiled widely, Pointing to the pancake. Akito chuckles, Clapping his hands to Toya's enthusiasm.
"Good job. It should be cooked already, You can put it on the plate now." Akito had already put the plate on the counter. Toya lifted the pancake from the pan and gently placed it on the plate.
After more times of successfully cooking pancakes, Toya placed the plates on the table before reaching over the cupboards and grabbing two mugs and handing it over to Akito to set it on the table. He poured two cups of coffee in the mugs. He finally sat down on the table. Toya's pancakes had raspberries with syrup and Akito's pancakes had blueberries with syrup and butter. Both pancakes had mint, Thanks to An's mini mint farm.
The two enjoyed their breakfast quietly, Enjoying each other's presence.

Akito and Toya sat down on the couch, Feeling full from their breakfast. They were scrolling through their phones.
Suddenly, Toya put his phone down on his lap. He spoke in his usual gentle tone.
"Akito, I did tell you earlier I wanted to make snacks for practice later. If.. It's not a bother, Do you think we'll be able to prepare some?" Toya tilted his head.
"Hm… I guess we could? What do you want to make?" Akito had his attention on Toya now, Who was thinking deeply. He had to make a careful decision. He should suggest something they would all like. Maybe they should put it in a large bento box? Yeah, That's probably a good idea.
"Can I look for what you have?" Toya stood up. Akito nodded in response. Toya then walked over to the refrigerator, Opening it and scanning over the food in it. There were fruits and a box of cheesecake. He sighed, These wasn't enough. He wanted to make something special for his teammates. They would always hang out at WEEKEND GARAGE after practice and order something. He didn't want to make them wait til practice was over just so they could finally eat after hours of practicing. So he wanted them to eat a bit while they were resting.
Toya closed the refrigerator door, Now rummaging through the cupboards. He found a few biscuits and chips. He decided he'd just prepare simple snacks that his teammates could eat.
"Akito? Where do you store your bento boxes?"
Akito looked at him for a second before standing up and making his way over to the bottom drawers. He opened a particular drawer that stored all his family's bento boxes.
"Which one do you want to use?"
"The largest one, Please."
Akito reached to the bottom of the drawer to the largest bento box he had and placed it on the counter. Toya took out the snacks and also placed them on the counter. Akito's eyes lit up when he saw the cheesecakes and quickly scrambled to get a plate, Opening the box and slicing a piece of cheesecake. He took a spoon and dug it on cheesecake, Placing the spoon in his mouth and humming in delight. He then noticed Toya was staring at him with a smile on his face. Akito blushed and his eyes darted around the room, Trying to avoid his gaze. He took another spoonful but this time, Slowly reaching it to Toya's lips. Toya was surprised by the sudden gesture but he opened his lips and let the spoon past before closing it. He nodded, A gesture to Akito that it was good.
As Toya was placing the snacks in the bento box, He was getting spoon fed by Akito as well. Sometimes he would let Akito take a fruit or a biscuit. It was really an enjoyable time for the both of them.
After they were done, Akito headed over to the sink to put his dirty plate. He jolted when Toya suddenly approached him. He was about to say something when he was quickly interrupted by the feeling of Toya's lips on his forehead. Akito's cheeks burned at the sensation of Toya's soft lips.
"Thank you, Akito. For teaching me how to cook and helping me today." The smile Akito oh so loved graced upon his partner's lips once more.
"It's.. whatever."

"Woah! Toya, You did all of this?" An looked at him in awe as she stuffed her mouth with chips.
"Shiraishi, Slow down. You're going to choke." Toya warned the girl who was clapping with glee from the snacks. It was obvious she was already hungry. That's probably the reason why she eats a lot after practice.
"This is really impressive, Aoyagi-kun! This would surely give us more energy for practice later." Kohane chuckled, Reaching out for a strawberry.
"Hey! Now that I think about it, Isn't this Akito's bento? Why do you have it?"
Akito nearly choked himself. He completely kept it a secret from the girls about Toya coming over. He is seriously never going to utter a word about what happened earlier this afternoon.
