Aizawa didn't know what he and his boss were doing, especially here in Piedmont, but he was there for the ride, due to expelling his whole class.
Nedzu was double and triple checking his black and yellow suit, something he does not wear, usually. When he'd asked he only got "a second first impression" for an answer.
They were walking in the suburbs on a bright sunny day in spring, exactly sixty degrees Fahrenheit, and got to a rather innocuous house, two people, obviously identical twins, were in front, both with chocolate ice-cream. Arguing, they were arguing.
"Dipper, you need to be selfish, just this once. Jack won't bother you if you fight back."
He was doubly confused as to why his boss was humming We'll Meet Again by Vera Lynn.
The girls heard it, and snapped their heads towards the Principal.
"Hello, Pines twins. Am I a mouse? A dog? A bear? I'm the Principal, Nedzu! You may have already guessed, but we knew me by another name in a past life. Ol' Axxy had me learn my lesson as you can see."
The relief is their eyes was telling.
"So," the girl with the sweater began, "what's up, dog?"
"Actually, I believe he's a stoat," joked the other.
"Really, Mary?"
"Real name, ouch."
"You know of the Avenger's Initiative," asked the stoat, apparently, "correct?"
"Yeah?"
"There is a threat coming. Something big, and I'm putting together a class for those who've had multidimensional, extraterrestrial or just larger than life experiences."
"What kind of threat?"
"I received this a week ago, today." He held out a paper. Mary took it.
"Should I do the voice? No? Okay.

"What's it mean?"
"Well, the first line refers to me, the second is probably saying along the lines of 'stop moping and get off your butt'."
"We're teens; we can swear. The third and fourth line are saying the threat isn't like Bill. The last lines are saying the threat is us?"
"Gasp! Dipper, Anti-Mabel!"
"Did you just say 'gasp'," she pondered a second. "You may be right, though. Obviously, she won't be alone, as she, alone, would not be much of a threat. We accept your offer."
"Good, it'll start next year. Remember—"
"Reality's an illusion?"
"No, Japan has a different school system. Better tell your parents!"

Two years! Two years, it took for him to get to Piedmont. Finally, his sister would know he's around.
"Heyyyy, sister! You missed me, admit it, you missed me!"
"Bill?!" She was wearing an all black outfit, she looked really goth, actually.
"Nah, definitely went crazy, though."
"Dipper?"
"Yeah, been stuck in the mindscape, no body or soul does that to you."
"I'm sorry I couldn't stop Bill—"
"No sweat! Now that we're together again, we can work on at least getting me a body, cause I really want to feel something, even a broken fucking bone! And, and you realize I'm stuck in this suit, it happened when Captain Dorito threw me of the tower. Oh, oh, what if we raze this dimension to the ground to make an inter-universal portal, and we could have our lives back!"
"That may just work."
They both began hysterically laughing.

"No worries, AXOLOTL," placated the Guardian, or Three-Stones. "My champions will aid yours."
"As will mine," agreed the Titan and Clockwork.
Marilyn Alexandra "Dipper" Pines. Quirk: Adjusted Enhancement. She can increase her 'stats' temporarily. If you think of Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons, there are Strength, Dexterity, Speed, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. After her first summer in Gravity Falls, she was able to enhance all seven at once for up to ten minutes, and just Adjusting one can last an hour.
Dipper is a Trans girl, now six feet tall. The alpha twin, and was so selfless, her sister had to coerce her into even indulging herself in a game of DD&MD.
Mabel Dana Pines. Quirk: Hallucination. She can have anyone within range see, hear, smell and feel what she wants. Before her summer in Gravity Falls her Quirk was limited to three in a ten meter radius. Now it was forty in a hundred.
Mabel is five-eight, and has to force her sister to be selfish. After that summer in Gravity Falls she just got it into her mind that any selfish act she made would cause a catastrophe. Her sister needed therapy, but she refuses. Mabel was in therapy (over video call), the same therapist Mayor Cutebiker and Pacifica visit. She hoped something would snap her sister out of her funk.
