Summary
Hermione Granger is nursing a growing affection for the Headmistress of Hogwarts as she returns to the school to finish her education, following the end of the war. Given a Time Turner to help her catch up with things, she dives into her educational pursuits all while beginning to form a friendship with Minerva McGonagall, doing what she can to show the woman who has her attention that her interest is hardly platonic. Still, she feels rebuffed. When near the end of term an accident flings her back in time to Minerva’s own final year at Hogwarts, where roles are reversed and she becomes Minerva’s professor, she’s more than a little surprised to find that she’s the one trying, and ultimately failing, to rebuff her student’s romantic advances. Follow as Hermione forms a new identity and strong friendships, along with a romantic relationship. Will any of those things stand the test of time when she is forcefully flung forward to where and when she came from a year later, or will the Headmistress she remembers reject her love once again?
