The sound of rain is the only thing heard in the house.
But it sounds quiet. Awfully quiet.
The only thing r8ss could hear was the stupid rain and the thoughts in their wrecked mind. "When will that lying piece of shit come home-?"

"I'm home!" A voice echoed throughout the living room.
" Mre." A voice with such a venomous tone called out their name.
Something was wrong. But Mre shrugged it off as a bad day.
"Hi sweet-"
"Don't you FUCKING sweetheart me." R8ss stood up from the living room couch and looked at their partner with the angriest look Mre wil ever see in their entire life.
"Woah- what's with the yelling? You're gonna wake up the kids-" Mre said as they backed off a little from their seemingly pissed of partner.
"I know."
"I know what you did."
" You MOTHERFUCKING CHEATER." R8ss yelled at the person in front of them.
Shit. They found out about it..?
"Honey- R8, I can explain-"
" WHAT IS THERE TO EXPLAIN MRE? YOU GO OFF CHEATING WITH GOD KNOWS WHO WHILE IM STUCK HERE WORKING MY ASS OFF FOR THIS FAMILY."
R8ss' throat started to hurt. But they couldn't care less in the world right now.
" Listen to me R8 JUST LISTEN TO ME." Mre yelled back.
" YOU WERE RECENTLY JUST ALWAYS SO- GODDAMN ABSORBED IN YOUR WORK THAT YOU BARELY HAVE ANY TIME FOR ME AND OUR CHILDREN. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONELY I'VE FELT IN THIS HOUSEHOLD?"
Mre tried to explain their reason.
"You. YOU. YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME MRE. YOU COULD'VE FUCKING TOLD ME THAT. YOU'RE MY PARTNER FOR GODS SAKE. I LOVED YOU. YOU SHOULD'VE ASKED BEFORE YOU CHEATED ON ME."
"DO YOU KNOW WHY I WAS SO BUSY IN THE FIRST PLACE? I WAS SAVING UP MONEY SO ALL OF US COULD AFFORD TO GO TO VACATION NEXT MONTH.
I STAYED LOYAL TO YOU. I DID EVERYTHING FOR THIS FAMILY. FOR YOU, FOR MELT, FOR ENVY. EVEN WITH MY WORK I TRIED TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF YOU KNEW THAT I LOVED YOU ALL SO MUCH. AND YOU THREW IT AWAY. JUST-"
R8ss continued. They couldn't take it and sat on the floor and cried. They couldn't take it anymore. It was too much.
"I-im so sorry."
"Im so fucking sorry honey.-"
Mre tried to approach their partner but-
"Get out."
"What.?"
"I. SAID. GET. OUT. YOUR THINGS ARE IN THE HALLWAY JUST- GET. OUT." R8ss stood up again and pointed at the hallway.
The hallway looked like it had been struck by a hurricane. Broken picture frames, shards from vases scattered around the floor, everything was out of place.
Mre knew what they did was wrong.
But they would never admit that, will they?
"Fine then." Those words struck like poison to R8ss.
Mre quickly grabbed the two luggages and made his way to the front door.
"We're settling the divorce tomorrow." R8ss looked at the person in front of them. They weren't even sure what to call them anymore.
"Sure. On one condition."
"Im taking melt with me."
