He had lost.
His mind came to a stop and his body started to tremble. He was exhausted; he couldn’t resist anymore. He just wanted to rest, get everything over and done with. And that was what had just happened.
There he lay on the ground, his back on the floor and his head rested against the hard, dirty gray pavement of the street. His arms and legs were extended in a starfish position, he had no energy to move.
Even though tiredness consumed him, his eyes were still open in pure spite. He was looking at the changing colors of the sky, as the sun had run away from the scene, too scared to witness their confrontation. In exchange, the moon had acted as a referee, a silent reminder of their moral compass. And the stars let out muted screams, acting as madmen watching a gory show.
Beomgyu’s dark brown eyes were screaming at him to rest, just begging to close for a few seconds. He hissed as he did so, he felt stinging in both eyes as they closed for the first time in who knows how long. He had been so busy battling the other to even think about blinking; he couldn’t miss a single second as it could lead him into his own dismay.
“You should have listened to me” a voice resounded a few meters from where he was standing. “I told you to stay put and do as I say, but you didn’t.” The voice was full of venom.
The other boy spat every word full of rage. Beomgyu was too tired to care; he just wanted a way out, whether by walking away or dying, he didn’t care. However, taking everything into account, he’d opt for the latter.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Taehyun crouch by him. Suddenly, Beomgyu felt a grip on his hair, as fingers laced through his brown strands. Taehyun was being so rough, he was tugging without caring about the sharp pain that was starting to increase with his action. His teeth grinded against each other; and saliva started to pool on the ends of his mouth.
Taehyun was fuming, small droplets of spit were falling into Beomgyu’s face. He raised his clenched fistuntil he had lifted the elder’s head so they’d be face to face. Two raging brown eyes crashed against Beomgyu’s own emotionless stare.
“Guess I had just grown tired of being your puppet. Guess I realized that that’s all I had ever been to you all this time”. Beomgyu muttered as he struggled to get the words out. Each word crawling out his throat and every breath making his lungs burn. He was also taking in the pounding headache and the burning ache that was taking over his body. His vision grew hazier with each blink.
If Taehyun wasn’t already enraged beforehand, it was Beomgyu’s words that made his blood boil in such a way his body started to heat up. Adrenaline rushed through his body and as he increased his grip on the other’s hair. He pushed the elder’s head backwards again until it hit the ground. A pained whine escaped from Beomgyu’s lips and his head started to spin.
He wanted to scream, but his mind went blank at the painful hit. “You should have stayed quiet and followed my words. Now you have to pay, such a shame. You were so pretty. A face like that should be praised, worshiped even. Nevertheless a puppet like you doesn’t even deserve a smile from me.”
Taehyun pooled saliva inside his mouth. With his free hand Taehyun pinned him down harshly, then he reached until he grabbed Beomgyu’s cheeks. There he gripped forcefully, forcing the other’s mouth open.
Beomgyu could only let out a low cry, the pain leaking into his voice. What a pity Taehyun didn’t care at all about him.
“Open wide” He sneered. Tears were falling down Beomgyu’s cheeks. The once shiny brown eyes now dull and reddened from crying. Taehyun could easily get off from the sight in front of him. The boy was so weak and vulnerable beneath him, he wanted to push him until he couldn’t take it anymore. Taehyun wanted to break him, wanted him pleading for his mercy. Beomgyu would make such a cute toy, and he’d learn to never disobey him ever again.
Taehyun had to bite his lips to keep in the moans that threatened to escape his mouth. He was entranced by the view in front of him, such cute tearful eyes should be considered the eighth wonder of the world. He was combating in his mind. Inside he was dying to let his tongue slip from his lips to lick the trails of tears that had painted the other boy’s face. He could almost savor the salty taste of the other, feel the bitter aftertaste that would be left on his lips from Beomgyu’s pain.
Tears tainted by the sour feeling. His nose started to redden as his cheeks were already covered by a blanket of sweet blush. Such a pretty boy, so blinded by his own ambition. Beomgyu was squirming beneath the younger, trying to escape with no luck in doing so. Taehyun’s body jerked with every sound that came out of Beomgyu’s lips.He was such a needy boy; so wrecked already, so easy to handle. The throaty sounds grew louder as Taehyun teased him, increasing his grip on the other’s hair.
‘Make him hurt, don’t let him escape. Pin him down’ Taehyun’s mind screamed at him. His sick mind just wanted to see the other scream in pain, to see those crystal tears fall from his eyes and into Beomgyu’s mouth, making him choke on them. He wanted to watch as the elder’s bare neck would be painted with red splotches as cries would be ripped from his mouth. Such pretty sounds, they would echo in his mind over and over and over again.
“Don’t silence yourself, beautiful. Cry for me, let it all out. Let me hear you.” Taehyun’s pupils dilated and his voice was uneven, his body was slightly trembling from the euphoria of seeing Beomgyu so undone beneath him. He had always known that he had a dark twisted side to himself, but he had never shown it to the other until now. He couldn’t let Beomgyu run away and now. Taehyun pinned him down against the ground, caging Beomgyu against his firm body. He knew this was the perfect time to let loose. Beomgyu had no way to break free.
However, that moment of possessiveness was just the beginning of it.The younger’s train of thoughts quickly went by as his eyes darkened and zeroed into the open mouth in front of him. Pink full lips so ready for him, waiting so patiently for his next move. He could do anything to the other. Beomgyuwas at his mercy, everything his mind could muster and the other could only let it happen. A wet sound could be heard as he spat into the other’s mouth. Beomgyu’s eyes fluttered closed, he was reaching his limit.
No drop was going to slip out of those pretty lips. Taehyun stopped applying force to his cheeks only to lower his hand onto the other’s jaw and pushed harshly to close his mouth. He didn’t falter as he watched as the other tried to resist it. He deeply inhaled from his nose; nevertheless, Taehyun pinched his nose shut for a few seconds and Beomgyu was forced to swallow it down to be able to breathe through his mouth.
It was too much for Beomgyu, his muffled cries were aggravating his headache. He was feeling so lightheaded at that moment and he couldn’t feel the rest of his body anymore.
Taehyun was right, as always.
He was weak.
Everything he had said had been the truth; he knew Beomgyu so well, all of his strengths and weaknesses. Both of them knew that. He couldn’t escape. What would he do without Taehyun. He’d be so lost.
He couldn’t leave Taehyun.
He needed him.
He was nothing without Taehyun.
He started to overthink. What would his life be without the other? Just nothingness. His tears resurfaced more intensively. His chest ached. He was losing his breath. The sounds around him started to mix into a constant loud ringing .
Beomgyu was nothing.
“Please,” his voice cracked, “don’t leave me, Taehyunnie. I’ll change, I promise. Please, let me be by your side. I swear I'll do everything you say. I’m so stupid compared to you”. Taehyun tried to hide the smile that crept onto his face at those words. Nevertheless Beomgyu was already too out of it to even realize.
The harsh grip on the other’s face softened into just a light touch. He started to stroke Beomgyu’s cheek. A sweet caress so out of place, a bittersweet contrast to his wicked words and nasty treatment towards the elder.
“Shhh'' he whispered. His hand never stopped moving and sweet words escaped his lips. Venomous words poisoned Beomgyu’s mind. They lulled him into a filthy fantasy. He was falling into it. It wasn’t right and he knew it, but his mind was already so broken. He ignored his rational side just to trick himself into whatever lies the other was spewing. Beomgyu’s mind was flooded with a chant of worship centered around the younger, so devoted to him.
His frail body gave out as so did his mind. A switch flipped, he was gone. All that was left of him was the vacant stare of an empty-souled puppet. He laid underneath the body of a vicious mind that had tangled him with his sweet words as burning ropes.
The world went silent and his vision slowly darkened.
And Beomgyu ceased to exist.
