“Joshua,” Jeonghan said, his voice a low, dangerous growl, his eyes blazing. “You are the most infuriating, disobedient, exasperating Omega I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.” He took a step closer, his Alpha aura radiating, momentarily silencing Lady Hong's attempts to intervene. “And I swear, I will make you mine, if only to ensure you never cause another moment of such utter social chaos.”
Joshua’s breath hitched. This was it. The mask was truly gone. He could see the raw Alpha, the man he loved, stripped bare of all pretense. His vanilla scent, which had been playful, now softened, sweet and yielding, accepting the Alpha’s dominance.
“Oh, Jeonghan,” Joshua whispered, his eyes shining. “Is that your proposal, then? To make me yours to prevent further social chaos?”

“You were turned into something else, then,” Nico surmised. Great. He’d been quiet all conversation, dodging all the questions, and now he and Thalia found common ground just to interrogate Percy. “What was it? When was it?”

Joshua stopped. He looked at Jeonghan, searching for the lie. "Why?" he whispered. "Why do you want the 'unmarriageable' Omega? You could have anyone. You could have a quiet, sweet mate who would give you no trouble."
"I don't want a quiet life," Jeonghan said, reaching out to cup Joshua’s jaw. His thumb traced the line of Joshua’s lower lip. "I want someone who will argue with me at three in the morning. I want someone who sees through my act and calls me a bastard when I deserve it. I want you, Joshua. Sharp tongue and all."
Joshua’s breath hitched. For the first time in his life, someone wasn't asking him to change. "You’re a madman," Joshua breathed.
"I’m a Yoon," Jeonghan replied, leaning down until their foreheads touched. "We’re all a bit mad. But I’m very serious about you. Let me court you properly. Not just dances and tea. Let me show you that I can handle your thorns."
