    Batel wanted him back naturally, while he, if he thought correctly, would come to the conclusion that if Una were just a colleague or a friend, he wouldn't have pushed Batel away for so long during the trial; those days, his mind couldn't stop thinking about how to save his Number One, so if all of this had a meaning, it only indicated to himself that the woman he loved was Una, not Batel.
