Why did ken feel the need to abandon Barbie to being captured by Mattel’s men in favor of going back to Barbieland on his own and introducing the concept of the patriarchy to it? What if all ken wanted was the power to make Barbie finally clarify what their relationship was and be able to somewhat call the shots in their relationship instead of Barbie keeping it in the friend zone relatively?
