"Remember, just call me if you don't know what to do. My contact is saved in the phone I gave you." Luz reminded Eda. "And please atleast try to fit in with the humans."
"I think you've forgotten who's the adult here." Eda teased.
"I think you've forgotten who's the human here. Byeeeee!" Luz called out as Camila rode away again.
Luz and Amity had decided that Raine and Eda deserved a holiday, and where better than the human realm! So they booked a hotel, made a schedule, and told Raine and Eda to pack their bags (and also added some stuff to the bags themselves).
So here Raine and Eda were, standing in front of a hotel, with no information except that they had to check in and would get texted what to do next.
"Well, Raine, I guess we go in." Eda nudged Raine with her elbow.
"I guess so."
They picked up their bags and walked inside. Eda walked towards the receptionist and signaled for Raine to follow.
"Uh, hi?" Raine looked over at Eda for help but the only help they got was a shrug. "We booked a room?"
"So you're checking in?" The receptionist was completely unphased. Raine nodded. "OK, names?"
"Raine Whispers, and that's Eda Clawthorne."
"You have room 608," The lady paused. "Thats floor 6. The lift's to the left, pool and gym are top floor. The food hall's to the right but you can also order room service. Have a nice stay."
She handed them their key and they went into the lift. Eda pressed the number 6 button and the door closed. When the lift started to go up Raine yelped and Eda suppressed a snort.
"You ok Rainestorm?" Raine nodded, their face redder than ever.
The lift arrived at the sixth floor and they walked to their room. There was a king sized bed with a large tv mounted on the dresser. Right to the bed was a door to the bathroom, which had a separate shower and bath, along with the toilet and sink of course.
"Oh my, who could have guessed," Raine said sarcastically. "There's only one bed."
"Luz sure is a sucker for romance stories, you should have seen her when king said you were my ex!" Eda immediately regretted what she said and Raine just ignored it.
"What's that black box?" Raine quickly changed the subject.
"Oh, it's a, um, telavosian? It's like a crystal ball, you can watch the news or movies or shows." Eda plopped onto the bed. Raine joined her.
"Hey! This is really comfortable!"
"The owl nest is better. Jesus, stop looking at me like that. This is also comfortable."
"The owl nest is surprisingly comfortable, but if we move in together we need to find a solution." Raine and Eda blushed. "Um, should we text Luz and Amity that we're in our room?"
"Yeah, good idea," Eda grabbed the phone and texted the group chat Luz and Amity made while Raine looked over her shoulder. "What do I say?"
"I guess just tell them that we're in our room?" Raine proposed.
"Luz answered 'Yes', all caps. Amity asked if we're settled in." Eda looked over and Raine and they nodded. "Luz says 'It's time for a movie night', all caps."
"Movie night?"
"I guess we use the tolavasion, at night." Eda explained. "Amity said 'Put on your PJs and order crisps, popcorn, and cola'"
"Ok, we'll have to work the telosivian." Raine sighed. "So, I change while you try to work it?"
"Why me!" Eda protested.
"Because you actually knew what it was." Raine grabbed their things and ran straight to the bathroom. "Byeeeee!"
Eda picked up the remote and mumbled to herself. A few minutes later Raine left the bathroom to find Eda dancing on the bed singing a song she called 'I did it and I'm better than you'.
"Ah yes, you'll surely win an award for that." Raine raised their eyebrows. "Go grab your stuff and change while I order room service."
"Don't mind if I do Rainestorm."

"Ok, we have the snacks, and Luz gave us a list of movies and shows." Raine threw some pillows on the bed. "Now the beds also comfy. Now we just need to decide on a movie."
Raine and Eda talked for a good 20 minutes before coming to a decision, the Twilight movies. So they lay down and pressed play.
Raine and Eda sat across from eachother with the snacks in front of them while the movie played. First they tried the crisps.
"Ooo, I like it. The tiniest bit bland though," Raine criticised. "I'll rate it a 7 out of ten."
Next they tried the popcorn.
"Holy shit. This is so good." Eda said this time. "Easy 10"
Lastly, when they were 5 minutes into the movie, it was Cola time. They took a sip and immediately pandemonium broke out. Raine jumped up and Eda pulled faces.
"It feels like I'm being attacked in my mouth!" Raine stuck out their tongue.
"I might throw up through my nose."
"Please don't. I don't wanna clean that." Raine looked her in the eye with a straight face. "Anyway I'm going to go drink some more."
"Pour me some more too."

The New Moon credits rolled to an end.
"Titan this is terrible." Eda looked over at Raine.
"I loved it." Raine said with a straight face, staring Eda in the eye. Eda burst out laughing.
"Anyway," Eda said after calming down. "It's probably time for bed."
"Look at you, such a parent, you'll turn of the televosian?' Raine asked right as the tv shut off.
"Fuck off," Eda retaliated. "Good night Rainestorm."
"Good night." Come on Raine, say it, you can do it. "I love you."
"I love you too." Edas heart did more than a summersalt, it did a full on backflip. Eda lay down and grabbed Raine's hand and put it in hers. With a click it was dark and they lay silently, until they finally fell asleep.
