In the Middle Ages, two knights were saving the princess from the fearsome giant cat. Why two? It’s because what came up with the idea was a coward.
«Alastor, I really have to accompany you?» One of the knights asked.
«Well, I need a friend to help me save the princess» Alastor answered.
«And what do I get?» He said and raised an eyebrow.
«Ehm...You get...ehm... gold, Anthony! Yes, gold, you will have a lot of gold, okay?» Alastor had not thought of his friend, he had thought only of himself.
«Mhmm... all right» Anthony agreed.
«Perfect! now I can’t wait to save the beautiful princess Charlotte» He blushes a lot to the lady’s name.
With their horses they crossed plains, hills, mountains and even swamps. The journey was very long and newcomers were in front of a very high tower. They put on their helmets and go to the door. And there was a brochure in front.
«It seems that the giant cat has found a wife» Knight Alastor said while standing by the paper.
«What? Who would marry a beast?» Knight Anthony asked.
«Ah, Miss Niffty, the baker, good for her».
«Her? Never mind. Do you want to save your princess or not?».
«Oh surely, now I come».
They entered and climbed the stairs and when they reached the front, they took off their helmets. And Alastor becomes more presentable. Angel gets upset with his friend because it’s taking too long, so he pushes him towards the door. Inside was the princess and another woman who spoke and were interrupted by Alastor.
«Hello princess I am the knight Alastor and I am here to save you, in theory, from the giant cat but since it is not here, I would say that I accompany you to your castle» He kneels and extends his hand.
«But how long did it take you to get here? I’ve been waiting here for too long!» She shouted.
«W-well, I found out two days ago and it took me a while to find you» The knight played with his fingers.
«And now I have to marry you for the damn regulation» She massages the temples «Come here, now we return to the castle, dopey» The princess said, she took him by the ear and dragged him to the exit.
«Ouch ouch ouch, my dear! Beware of my ear» He said sore.
«Shut up» She said angrily.
The other two finished watching the scene and decided to talk.
«You are supposed to be the knight Anthony» The other woman asked.
«Yes, Miss, and who are you?» Anthony said.
«I am Vagatha the lady-in-waiting of the princess» She answered.
«That explains why you are here».
There was silence for a moment then she spoke again.
«Would you like to be my knight and carry me in your arms?» The lady-in-waiting said smiling shyly.
«No....» The knight said. She puts a sad face to his answer «I’m joking» He said and he lifted her up as if it was nothing.
«How strong» She said surprised and blushing.
He laughed and took her out.
Bonus:
«Honey, you think they will realize that you no longer live there» The baker Niffty asked.
«Yes, don’t worry, I left a note at the door, the problem is that it will not be on the main poster, that is, whoever saves them will arrive prepared for nothing haha» The giant cat laughed.
She didn’t answer and laughed with him.
