5 Times People Chased Away Her Fans and One Time She Did it Herself.

Summary:

Five times people chase away Barbara's fans for her and one time she does it herself.

Notes:

Hiiiii!!! This is my first fanfic that I'm posting so please tell me if you see any room for improvement with formatting and/or the fic itself <3

Also, there's a tiny tiny mention of self harm here-though it has no relation to sadness.
And of course, there are mentions of stalking.

Take care!!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Rosaria

Chapter Text

“Sister Barbara is busy! We’ve told you this multiple times! Healing a measly papercut or bruise which you had inflicted upon yourself is a waste of her time and her energy!”

Sister Victoria was done, Albert had been stalking Sister Barbara for over a few months now and quite frankly it was quite disturbing.

“Barbara-Sama can afford to handle my injuries, she cares for me very dearly! After all, I am a part of her biggest fan club and am one of her biggest fans!”

“Albert; Sister Barbara is busy right now, and quite frankly you are more of a stalker than her ‘biggest fan.’”

Sadly the traveler wasn’t here to help her get rid of Albert. Sister Victoria prayed to Barbatos above that he’d help her get rid of him. Not a very pure thought but one with the right conviction.

“I am not a stalker! I am just looking out for our very dear Barbara-Sama!”

“Albert, I’m saying this for the final time,” Sister Victoria said, her patience wearing thin, “Get out, otherwise I’ll call the knights.”

Sister Victoria was bluffing, she knew-She didn’t have any concrete evidence to go against Albert with, otherwise she definitely would have contacted the knights by now.

“But-” Albert pleaded.

“Out.”

And with that Sister Victoria slammed the church door shut, leaving to attend to her own duties, praying to Barbatos once again that Albert would leave poor Barbara alone.

However what both Sister Victoria and Albert hadn’t noticed was a presence, lurking in the shadows, watching their every move.

—----------------------------------------------------------

Rosaria saw how Albert had waited behind a tree for about ten minutes before making a move to go inside the church-no doubt to see Barbara.

She then finally decided to walk out from her hiding place in the shadows and moved to block Albert’s path from getting into the church.

“And what are you doing here?” Rosaria asked, her tone bored as she dangled a dagger on her finger.

“I-I was just here to see Barbara-Sama!” Albert exclaimed, face flushed with embarrassment and a bit of fear.

“Barbara is busy, I’d advise you to leave before I do something you may regret,” Rosaria stated, venom audible in her tone, lifting her spear threateningly.

“I….Fine!” And with that Albert stomped off the church grounds like a child throwing a tantrum.

“You can come out now you know,” Rosaria stated blandly.

A quiet ‘Eep!’ was heard as Barbara walked out from behind a nearby wall.

“Thank you, Sister Rosaria. It doesn’t sound very good of me but…I’d prefer not to be around Albert,” Barbara softly said.

“Don’t thank me, I was only chasing away some…Trash. You should be more careful, next time you see him, don’t hold back.”

“I…” But before Barbara could finish, Rosaria had disappeared back into the shadows.

—-----------------------------------------------------------

Rosaria wasn’t a nice person and she knew it herself. But the sight of those…Creeps made her blood boil.

Even if Barbara was a thorn in her side, she couldn’t just let her be pushed around by those creepy ‘fans’ of hers.

Being a popular Idol is not an invitation to act like a stalker and she will make sure all of Barbara’s fans know that…Especially that Albert.

—------------------------------------------------------------

Barbara wasn’t sure what to think. Over the past few months she was getting fed up with Albert, he had always made her feel uncomfortable.

He was always creeping around the church looking for her and asking her to heal any measly injuries he had.

Not that she minded healing people! It’s just…She could tell Albert had purposely injured himself just to see her.

She felt flattered, yes, but more so uncomfortable.

It wasn’t very good of her to wish Albert would leave her alone but she just couldn't help it.

Whenever Barbara had caught him watching her she’d just feel so anxious and creeped out.

When Barbara had seen Albert earlier today looking for her, she made sure to stay out of his line of sight.

She made plans to give Sister Victoria a gift a bit later in thanks for dealing with Albert.

Only just when Barbara had thought Albert had left she decided to take a walk on the church grounds to garner inspiration for some new songs she may like to write-and later sing.

Then Barbara had seen Albert again-trying to get into the church. She had thought then, that an interaction between them that day would be inevitable, no matter how much she tried to hide.

Until Sister Rosaria stopped him and had gotten him to leave.

Barbara was deeply grateful for Sister Rosaria’s intervention and planned to also get her a gift soon.

Though there was one thought lingering in Barbara’s mind;

Why couldn’t I have just stood up for myself?’
