Remember Me (though I have to say goodbye)

Summary:

Percy had remembered.

The good times and the bad times.

Their death.

The gods promising that they will meet again.

And then not REMEMBERING.

FORGETTING.

He lost them once. He will never lose them again.

Or: Percy remembered his time as a god in Ancient Greece. He lost them once. But now he will take desperate measures to keep them safe. Even if it means doing something they won't like.

OR, OR: God Percy doesn't want Will anywhere near Jason and Nico

Chapter 1: The Missing Prince

Chapter Text

Nico Di Angelo has been missing for 5 days. 

 

The camp was in an uproar. 

 

At first everyone had thought that he left to his fathers in the middle of the night. Jason and Will had been the only ones who had suspected anything wrong. Nico had never left without saying goodbye. Not even in the middle of the night; he always left a note. But no one listened. 

 

It took 3 days and an enraged Hades storming the camp for their worries to be proven true. Hades had screamed and demanded to see his son but a confused Chiron had told him Nico had already left.

 

 A horrible silence had swept the Pavilion before being interrupted by a clash of thunder. Everyone had stared up looking for clouds before everyone slowly turned to Jason. His hands curled into fists and gripping the table, causing splinters of wood and lightning to fly up.

 

Their camp had split off into groups and searched the woods. Will taking the woods around Thalia's pine tree, Jason taking the Northern Woods down to the Southern Woods, Percy taking the shoreline and everyone else searching in between.

 

 Many questions had been floating around. Where had Nico been taken, when Nico was taken, why was Nico taken, who had taken Nico, and how was Nico taken out of camp without alerting anyone.

 

People had gathered around and speculated on those very questions. Their best guess was that Nico was taken around midnight for revenge against either Hades or Nico himself for his role in the Titan and Giant Wars. Some new campers had said that since Nico wasn't a part of the Seven he didn’t have a major role in the wars. Jason, Will and all the Seven had screamed at those campers and Percy had even decked them.

Chapter 2: Not an Update

I am so sorry for the long wait. I lost the creative flow and felt a bit overwhelmed. I will be continuing this and a new chapter should be posted anytime between tomorrow and 2 weeks. I am really sorry. Please let me know if you would be interested in a new fic that is an idea bin since most of my ideas come to me in that form. The ideas are not always Percy Jackson and I will put a list of fandoms I enjoy. Let me know if that would be something you would like. Also, I might start a prompt book so leave those aswell. Chapters might be short for some time so sorry about that but I am trying to lengthen my chapters. The next proper chapter of this book is longer already. Thank you so much for the comments and the kudos. It really supported me and made me retake an idea in this story.

Chapter 3: Choice

Now this chapter isn't finished but I would like your opinion on it. I was working on chapter two on a different account on a different computer and wrote what I thought was going to be chapter two but the storyline and plot didn't match up. So I am going to leave it up to you what first chapter you like more. Sorry.

Chapter Text

The camp had been surrounded in darkness for days and everyone knew where it came from. It was obvious. The son of Hades was missing, no one knew where he was and his father was furious.

Alarm rose when Will and Jason went to wake him for breakfast thinking he was still asleep and found an empty bed. They searched all through the cabin and came up with nothing. They had raised the alarm with Chiron next and both camps were sent into a frenzy.

After all surfaces from the smallest of boxes to the largest of temples were thoroughly searched, then came the daunting task of informing Hades of the losing of his son.

Percy volunteered to venture into the underworld and break the news. Will and Jason insisted that they come along but Percy refused.

….

‘’He’s our boyfriend Perseus, we should be there’’ Yelled an enraged son of Jupiter to a stoic son of Poseidon.
‘’And that is exactly why you both should stay here. You’re both emotional now and I don’t think a trip to the underworld would be dangerous for you right now, especially because of your inherited powers’’ Percy rebutted, utterly done with the argument and wanting to start the trip now.

All around them demigods and demigoddesses from both camps flocked to hear the argument happening.
‘’Our powers!’’ Shouted Will hands thrown in the air and bursts of dark sunlight spread from his fingers. People flinched back but Percy just looked unfazed. ‘’ You're not letting us go because our powers are a bad match up. What the fuck’’

Percy for his part was keeping his composure about him, if it had been any other demigod they would have pissed their pants at facing an outraged Jason Grace or Will Solace, not to mention both.

‘’I’m not letting you go because you're too emotional to handle a proper conversation’’. Will looked like he was about to interpret but Percy put a hand out to halt him. ‘’ I know you have a good reason to be upset right now and I am not saying you’re overreacting at all’’

‘’Then what are you saying’’

‘’I’m saying that both of you’’ Percy stated as he looked between the couple ‘’are to worked up any wrong thing will make you blow up and lose your cool. Just stay here and help look and I will go inform the Lord of the Dead that the son he loves more than anything is missing’’.
