After returning to the Divine Realm, Li Susu and Tan Taijin lived in Yuqing Palace, enjoying the world of two together. The Shangqing Realm began to bear fruit trees, and the splendor of the Divine Realm began to return.
From the comments of the remnants of Moon Guard and the people of the Jing dynasty, it is known that Tan Taijin was a brilliant man, a fair judge, a great King who once unified the Jing-Sheng country, and then sacrificed to Tongbei Tao so Immortal, Demon and Human could live with each other in peace. Every day, they will have to listen to all of the prays of people all over the world, the offerings are so plenty that they can't taste them all. What a pity!
Ten thousand years ago, there were twelve gods, so they could split up duties to help each other to read scrolls and listen to the requests of sentient beings. But ten thousand years later, there were only two gods left, and the population of the Humans, Immortals and Demon increased dramatically, making the two gods exhausted every day once they finished their affairs.
In the evening, the only time the two of them were together, after doing "what needed to be done", Li Susu looked up at Tan Taijin and suddenly asked:
"In your deepest heart, is the person you deeply fall in love with Ye Xiyu or Li Susu?"
If Journey to the West has 81 tribulations, then this question is definitely Tan Taijin's 82nd tribulation. Think about it, if he answered Ye Xiyu, then Li Susu would be angry because she thought he loved Xiyu but not Li Susu. And if his answer were to be Susu, she would retort that he didn't love the Xiyu he met as the Jing emperor, which means he didn't love her either. If he answered that he loved the girl who warmed him while kneeling in the snow, she would ask what the girl's name was, thus, they went back to the original question. What if he answered both? Tan Taijin would sleep on the floor outside of Yuqing Palace until her anger is over. Any answer will lead to Tan Taijin's tragic ending. Not long after he was resurrected to the Divine Realm, he was able to enjoy the gentle sweetness of his wife. Her question is like digging an eternal grave for him. He remembered that the tombs of Tan Taijin and Ye Xiyu were now full of plants and trees, and he won't know if he would be able to build the other grave to rest there after he finished answering the said question.
"So in your deepest heart, do you love Tan Taijin or Cang Jiumin?" - Instead of letting her attack, he fought back.
"Aren't they all you?" - She replied.
"Just give me the answer."
Li Susu thought for a moment, quiet for a while, then answered.
"Ye Xiyu loved the young man who reunited her with her family, embroidered the wedding veil with his own hands. Li Susu loved Cang Jiumin for protecting her and living beings, fighting the Ancient Demon God, and bringing peace to the Three Realms. I am both Ye Xiyu and Li Susu, who loves you all the way back and forth."
"Me too. Whatever body you are in, I will always love you"
Tantai's royal tomb did not need to have another grave for the god to take refuge, because the goddess had forgotten the question she asked previously. Instead, she was satisfied and kissed her husband.
The 82nd tribulation was resolved quickly.
