Akashi POV:
"It's your fault in the first place "
"My fault ? How is that my fault you moron bakaominecchi !"Kise shouted back with rage that matched Aomine’s
Their quarrels had become an everyday occurrence, and it was as if they were six-year-old kids bickering over the silliest of things. Aomine's dark hands would get tangled in Kise's golden hair, while the blonde retaliated by playfully aiming his fists at Daiki's cheek.
Everyone around them were watching , they had seen this happen countless times before, and it never failed to amuse and annoy them at the same time. Midorima sighed in exasperation and turned to his red haired capitain
"Akashi shouldn't we separate them now ?"
Akashi, being the calm and composed figure he was, observed the situation with a raised eyebrow , he decided to step in and address the situation. He approached the two bickering teammates, who were so absorbed in their argument that they hadn't noticed his presence.
"Is there a problem here?" Akashi's voice was even and authoritative, drawing the attention of both Aomine and Kise.
The two teammates froze, finally realizing that their captain was standing right in front of them. They exchanged quick glances, realizing that they might have taken their banter a bit too far.
"Apologies for each other."
"No way I will apologize to that idiot !" Aomine growled .
Akashi's eyes narrowed slightly ,and crossed his chest with his arms "Are you defying my words Daiki? ."
Aomine felt the weight of Akashi's piercing gaze on him , He knew that defying the captain's orders was never a wise move, and his pride was now warring . He had always been headstrong and confident, but in that moment, he felt like a child caught red-handed.
Aomine let out a sigh and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Kise... Look," he said, his voice slightly softer than before and looked into the blonde's amber eyes "I'm sorry. I shouldn't put the blame on you. It's just... I get worked up sometimes, you know?"
Kise's cheeks turned scarlet as Aomine apologized. He wasn't accustomed to receiving apologies from the navy blue-haired ace. It was a rare and surprising sight, but it also made Kise's heart flutter with warmth. "Aominecchii," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
The navy blue haired boy regarded him silently for a moment before mussing his hair , which made the blonde pout .
Meanwhile .....
Akashi couldn't help but cringe inwardly at the melodrama that unfolded before him.
