Summary
Remus Lupin is going home for the summer. For the first time he is riding the Hogwarts Express alone. By choice. Sirius' prank made him come to the realization that this was bound to happen. He was bound to lose his friends. It was just a matter of time.
Sad, alone, and friendless Remus is home for the summer and ignoring his friends letters. He wants to wallow alone in his sadness; however, his father is getting worse at controlling his own sadness and anger. Remus isn't sure how he is going to make it through the summer to return to school or even if he wants to go back after all that's happened.
